Million-Dollar Apple Swag Heist: Woke Tech Gets a Taste of Reality
Three stooges nick a truckload of iCrap – turns out even virtue-signaling corporations aren't immune to good old-fashioned crime. Serves 'em right, kinda.
So, three dudes walk into a… well, they don't walk into anything. They apparently relieve a truck of about a million bucks worth of Apple watches, iPads, and iPhones. Federal prosecutors are all hot and bothered, because, you know, stolen property is a big no-no. Especially when it's shiny, overpriced gadgets from a company that lectures you about your carbon footprint while offshoring its manufacturing to China.
Turns out, even the wokest corporations can't escape the realities of a world where not everyone's playing by their rules. One of the masterminds, bless his heart, decided to fire up an Apple Watch after the heist. Smooth move, Ex-Lax. That's like robbing a bank and then using their ATM to withdraw cash for a celebratory pizza.
Now, the libs will probably whine about societal inequities and the lack of opportunity leading to crime. Okay, sure, poverty sucks. But last I checked, stealing a truckload of iPhones isn't exactly a solution. It's just dumb. And it gives ammo to the “law and order” crowd, which, let's be honest, isn't always wrong.
Apple, of course, will spin this as a tragedy. They'll probably virtue-signal about how this affects their “diverse” supply chain and offer “counseling” to their employees who are “triggered” by the thought of someone getting away with free stuff. Meanwhile, they'll hike up prices to compensate for the loss. Capitalism, baby!
Honestly, the whole thing is kinda hilarious. A bunch of criminals targeting a company that's practically begging to be targeted. It's like a movie script written by a conservative comedian. Too bad Norm Macdonald isn't around to riff on it.
The feds are going to throw the book at these guys, and rightfully so. But let's not pretend this is some kind of major societal crisis. It's a crime. It happens. And sometimes, it even happens to the people who deserve it (sort of).
Maybe Apple should focus less on woke politics and more on securing their supply chains. Just a thought. Or maybe they should start offering a “thief discount” on their products. That would be woke, right?
Anyway, congrats to the cops for catching these morons. And congrats to Apple for providing us with another reason to roll our eyes at corporate America. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I'm going to go listen to some Kid Rock and ponder the irony of it all.
This whole situation just proves one thing: even the most politically correct companies can't escape the consequences of a lawless society. Maybe it's time for them to start supporting, you know, law and order instead of defunding the police. Just a thought.
So, the next time you see someone with a brand new iPhone, just remember: there's a chance it might be stolen. And if it is, well, maybe they deserve it. Just kidding (mostly).
