Alright, folks, another day, another explosion. This time it's Chalmette Refining in New Orleans, and surprise, surprise, it's a frickin' oil refinery. You know, the thing that liberals are trying to shut down so we can all drive electric cars powered by pixie dust and unicorn farts. Yeah, good luck with that.

So, what happened? Some kinda boom-boom went off, according to the Sheriff's Department. Big plume of smoke, the whole shebang. No word yet on whether anyone's turned into crispy critters, but you know the drill. Safety regulations? Overregulation? Maybe someone spilled their latte and forgot to clean it up. Who knows?

They're telling us to avoid the area. Good advice. Unless you're into that whole 'disaster tourist' thing, which, let's be honest, some of you probably are. Don't say I didn't warn you when you're breathing in carcinogenic fumes.

Chalmette Refining, of course, isn't saying squat. Probably lawyering up and blaming it on climate change or something equally ridiculous. These companies have gotten real good at deflecting.

Look, here's the deal. We need oil. We need gas. We need affordable energy. And shutting down refineries and strangling the industry with greenie nonsense is only going to make things worse. Remember that time they shut down the pipeline? Yeah, look how well that went. Less energy, higher prices, more dependence on our enemies. Brilliant.

So next time you're filling up your gas tank, remember Chalmette. Remember the smoke. And remember that the people trying to 'save the planet' are often the same ones making it more dangerous and expensive to live on it. Build more pipelines. Drill, baby, drill. And tell the libs to go hug a tree...far away from the refineries.

Don't be surprised if you see the Biden admin trying to blame this on Putin, or Trump, or maybe even the Easter Bunny. They'll spin it somehow. The only thing consistent about DC is the bullsh*t.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go fill up my tank. Just in case.
