NYC Mayor Goes Full Bernie, Chases Away Billionaires with 'Tax the Rich' Rant
Mamdani's crusade against 'evil corporations' might just bankrupt the Big Apple, LOL.

Okay, folks, buckle up because NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani is officially auditioning for AOC's job as Queen of the Commies. This guy's gone full Bernie Sanders, demonizing billionaires and scaring away businesses faster than you can say 'Venezuela.'
So, what's the deal? Mamdani, bless his heart, decided it was a great idea to personally attack Citadel CEO Ken Griffin in an ad for his brilliant new tax on luxury second homes. Griffin, unsurprisingly, wasn't thrilled. He called Mamdani "creepy" (accurate) and hinted that Citadel might ditch their planned $6 billion renovation project. Oops.
Cue the panic. Andrew Murstein, a sane person in a sea of socialist madness, launched 'Operation Boomerang,' a desperate attempt to lure businesses back with the promise of… hot dogs and bagels. Yeah, because that's totally going to offset billions in taxes and a hostile political climate. Good luck with that, buddy.
"The mayor’s office is feeling pressure around this, and they are looking for ways to change the narrative around business," an anonymous source told the Post. Translation: they're freaking out because they're realizing that 'tax the rich' only works until the rich actually leave. Then who's gonna pay for all your free stuff, genius?
Mamdani's playing a dangerous game. He's betting that he can demonize the 'evil corporations' and redistribute their wealth without any consequences. But guess what? Money is mobile. Businesses will go where they're treated fairly, and right now, NYC is about as welcoming to business as a woke college campus is to free speech.
This isn't just about Ken Griffin's hurt feelings. It's about the future of NYC. If Mamdani keeps chasing away the city's biggest taxpayers, the Big Apple is going to turn into the Big Empty. And then who's gonna pay for all those 'free' social programs? Hint: it won't be the trust fund babies who vote for socialists.
Former Mayor Eric Adams told Griffin to 'stand his ground.' Sadly, Adams is a relic from a saner time. Mamdani and his woke brigade are running the show now, and they're determined to turn NYC into a socialist utopia, even if it means bankrupting the city in the process. Get your popcorn ready, folks, this is gonna be a disaster.
Operation Boomerang? More like Operation Cope. The only way to save NYC is to get rid of these commies and elect someone who actually understands how the economy works. But hey, at least we'll have free bagels while the city crumbles.
