GOP Crushes Dems in Redistricting Chess Match – GG EZ
Leftists seething as Republicans use the courts and statehouses to draw maps that aren't totally rigged (but almost).
Okay, snowflakes, listen up. Remember when the Left was screeching about how Republicans were gonna steal the election through voter suppression and…I dunno…ballot harvesting by cyborg eagles? Turns out, the real power move is drawing the maps themselves. Turns out, Republicans have gamed the system (legally, of course) and are poised to pick up some sweet, sweet House seats thanks to redistricting.
Two words: Court rulings. Apparently, lefty states thought they could just redraw their districts into Picasso paintings to guarantee a Dem win. But the courts stepped in and said, "Hold up, fam. That's some Grade-A bullsh*t." Now, the Dems are crying about how unfair it is, but cry more, libs.
The real kicker is that Republicans control more state legislatures. That means they get to draw the maps. And they're drawing them…strategically. It's not technically "gerrymandering" if you just happen to create districts that are overwhelmingly Republican, right? It's just…math. Honest.
Remember when Ruth Bader Ginsburg was still kicking? Now, the Supreme Court is stacked and conservative justices are actually upholding the Constitution instead of inventing new rights out of thin air. This means that states can actually decide how their districts look, and the feds can't just swoop in and tell them what to do. Based.
So, what does this all mean? Simple: Republicans are playing 4D chess while Democrats are still trying to figure out how to use chopsticks. The GOP is gonna pick up some seats in the House, and the libs are gonna be even more triggered than usual. It's a win-win. GG EZ.
