NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani, fresh off his participation ribbon from the latest Social Justice Olympics, has once again proven he's completely lost the plot. This time, he's screeching about abolishing ICE because some triggered leftists threw a hissy fit outside a Brooklyn hospital. Apparently, an illegal immigrant named Chidozie Wilson Okeke, who overstayed his visa and has a rap sheet longer than AOC's list of grievances, got a bit roughed up during an arrest and needed a checkup. The horror!

According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Okeke, a Nigerian national who was supposed to bounce from the US of A back in February 2024, decided to play bumper cars with ICE agents using his vehicle. Naturally, the Feds weren't thrilled and apprehended him. But because this is 2026 and logic is dead, the usual suspects gathered outside Wyckoff Heights Medical Center to protest the audacity of enforcing immigration laws.

Mamdani, never one to miss an opportunity to virtue signal to his woke base, declared ICE raids "cruel" and reiterated his demand to abolish the agency. "I've made it very clear that our laws leave no room for interpretation: our NYPD will not participate in civil immigration enforcement," Mamdani bleated, conveniently ignoring the fact that ICE is a federal agency and not beholden to his virtue-signaling edicts. And who can forget the countless times he's thrown shade at ICE, all while chanting the abolish ICE narrative? It's almost like he is pandering!

Okeke's sob story is about as believable as Biden's claim of knowing where he is. According to DHS, this guy has a history of assault and drug possession. But hey, facts don't matter when you're trying to score woke points. The protesters, bless their hearts, allegedly damaged ICE vehicles and assaulted agents, because that's totally a proportionate response to enforcing the law. Six of them are now facing charges, proving that playing stupid games wins stupid prizes.

The whole situation is a circus of leftist lunacy. Mamdani is using this incident to push his radical agenda, ignoring the fact that ICE is responsible for deporting criminal aliens and protecting our borders. But hey, who needs secure borders when you can get pats on the back from Twitter leftists? Let's face it, Mamdani is less a mayor and more a performance artist, constantly seeking validation from the wokest corners of the internet. He's so desperate to be liked by the cool kids, he'd probably abolish oxygen if a TikTok influencer told him to.

The fact that this is happening in New York City, a place that used to be known for its toughness and pragmatism, is a testament to how far gone we are.
