SCOTUS Slaps Down Appeals Court, Lets Abortion Pill Mills Keep Printing Money (For Now)
Alito gives the green light to mail-order abortions – because why should Big Pharma ever face consequences?

So, the Supremes – or at least Alito – decided to put the brakes on that pesky appeals court ruling that threatened to cramp the style of the abortion pill industrial complex. Translation: you can still get your DIY abortion kit delivered right to your doorstep, no questions asked (except maybe by your nosy neighbors).
Remember that Fifth Circuit ruling that dared to suggest maybe, just maybe, shoving abortion pills through the mail without proper medical oversight was a bad idea? Yeah, SCOTUS said 'nah, hold my beer' and hit the pause button. Apparently, protecting Big Pharma's bottom line is more important than, you know, ensuring women aren't potentially harmed by unsupervised chemical abortions.
Chuck Schumer, bless his heart, wasted no time in celebrating this temporary victory for the perpetually offended. "It is good to see SCOTUS issue this stay to immediately restore access by mail to mifepristone," he tweeted, probably while sipping a soy latte and patting himself on the back. "But this fight is just beginning. We will stop at nothing to prevent the Republicans from putting a national abortion ban into effect." Translation: we're coming for your babies, and we'll use every legal loophole and activist judge to do it.
Mifepristone, that magical little pill that makes inconvenient pregnancies disappear, is now the preferred method of population control for the enlightened left. And because red states dared to pass laws restricting abortion after Roe got yeeted into the sun in 2022, these pills are now being shipped across state lines like contraband. Because screw federalism, amirite?
Louisiana, bless their redneck hearts, tried to fight back. They had the audacity to suggest that maybe abortion pills shouldn't be treated like candy. But the courts, ever the champions of woke ideology, slapped them down. For now.
Nancy Northup, head honcho at the Center for Reproductive Rights (aka the 'Let's Kill More Babies' Foundation), chimed in with her usual platitudes about 'access' and 'healthcare.' "This ruling is not final — keep watching," she warned, probably sharpening her legal claws in anticipation of the next round of courtroom shenanigans. "Getting abortion pills through telehealth has been a lifeline for women since Roe v. Wade was overturned. There is no reason people shouldn’t be able to get mifepristone at a pharmacy or through the mail. Louisiana's attempt to restrict access is political and not based in science or medicine. Americans deserve access to this critical drug that has been FDA approved for 25 years."
Kristan Hawkins, the fearless leader of Students for Life, called it like it is: "Pill pushers receive every benefit of the doubt, including today, as Justice Alito allows pill traffickers and big pharma to operate temporarily while arguments are sent to the Court." Preach, sister! This isn't about women's health; it's about lining the pockets of the abortion industry and pushing a radical leftist agenda.
The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruling prompted some places to send out misoprostol-only, just in case. Dr. Angel Foster at The Massachusetts Abortion Access Project already had misoprostol ready to go on Monday.
So, what's the takeaway? The Supreme Court's temporary stay is a temporary setback in the fight to protect unborn lives. The battle is far from over. We need to keep fighting to expose the abortion industry for what it is: a predatory enterprise that profits from the destruction of innocent human beings. And maybe, just maybe, one day we'll have a Supreme Court that actually gives a damn about the Constitution and the sanctity of life. Until then, keep stacking silver and praying for the best.
It is a stay, though. The legal fisticuffs aren't done yet. The Supremes can still take this thing and punt it back to the minor leagues, or they can let this mail-order murder continue. Buckle up.
This is just a delay to something everyone knows is coming, though. The left thinks it can win this one, but they're about to catch another L. Remember Roe v. Wade, libs?
Alito let the abortion mills keep making money, but this ain't over. Yet.
