Woke-berry's Cotswolds Crapbag: Rich Yankees Still Fallin' For It
£2k for a purse? LOL. But hey, at least the suits are making bank again fleecing clueless libs.

Okay, so Burberry – or Woke-berry, as I like to call 'em after they virtue-signaled their way through the last election – is back in the black. Apparently, selling overpriced handbags to clueless Americans who think the Cotswolds is the new Hamptons is a winning strategy. Go figure.
Forty-nine million quid profit. Not bad for a company that spends half its time lecturing us about social justice while simultaneously peddling luxury goods to the 1%. The hypocrisy is truly breathtaking, but hey, gotta make that cheddar, right?
This 'Cotswolds' bag – which probably costs them like, fifty quid to make – is hitting a 'sweet spot' with the Yank crowd. Two grand for a freakin' purse. I swear, these people are begging to be separated from their money. I’m just surprised they haven’t slapped a BLM fist or a rainbow flag on it yet. Give it time.
Joshua Schulman, the head honcho at Burberry, is patting himself on the back for phasing out the even MORE expensive bags. Genius move, Josh. Instead of charging five grand for a bag nobody buys, charge two grand for a bag that slightly fewer people can afford. Innovator.
And of course, they're blaming the Middle East for their struggles in Europe. Classic. Can't possibly be because your brand is overpriced and out of touch. Nope, gotta blame Iran. Never let a good geopolitical crisis go to waste, am I right?
The real kicker is that Burberry is attracting 'younger shoppers'. Translation: brainwashing the next generation into thinking that owning a ridiculously expensive handbag is the key to happiness. The cycle of consumerism continues.
So, congrats to Burberry for figuring out how to fleece rich liberals. Maybe they can use some of that profit to, I don't know, actually do something good for society instead of just talking about it. But I'm not holding my breath.
The stock dipped 5%. Probably because even Wall Street realizes this whole thing is built on a house of cards and the whims of the woke elite. But Kate Ferry, the finance director, is trying to reassure everyone that everything's fine. Sure, Jan.
Let's be honest, this whole story is just another example of the elite preying on the gullible. Rich people selling overpriced crap to other rich people while the rest of us struggle to pay the bills. It's the circle of life, CHUD style.
