Trump TRIGGERS Libs by Ignoring Useless War Powers Resolution
Orange Man bad, but he's right: Congress is a bunch of virtue-signaling Karens when it comes to war.

So, Trump's at it again, triggering the libs by daring to suggest he doesn't need Congress's permission to drop freedom bombs. Turns out, that dusty old War Powers Resolution from 1973 is getting dragged out again. The same one nobody actually follows, ever.
The whole thing started because Trump's been poking around in Iran, and the clock is ticking on some arbitrary 60-day deadline. Apparently, that's how long he's allowed to play soldier without asking the permission of a bunch of politicians who can't even agree on what's for lunch. Seriously, can you imagine asking AOC for advice on national security? Nightmares.
Trump, based as always, basically said that other presidents ignored this thing, and he's just keeping up tradition. "So many presidents, as you know, have gone and exceeded it," he said. "It's never been used. It's never been adhered to." Sounds about right.
Of course, the usual suspects are clutching their pearls. They keep screaming about the Constitution and the balance of power, as if Congress hasn't spent the last few decades handing over all their power to unelected bureaucrats anyway. Oh no, not the sacred 60 day deadline! The same one Slick Willie blew past when he was bombing Kosovo.
But let's be real, this whole War Powers Resolution is a joke. It was supposed to stop another Vietnam, but it just turned into a bureaucratic speed bump. Every president since Nixon has either ignored it, twisted it, or just straight-up laughed at it.
Remember Obama's little adventure in Libya? He conveniently decided it wasn't "hostilities" and kept bombing for seven months without asking anyone's permission. And nobody said a damn thing. Now all of a sudden, it's a crisis because Trump is doing it. Cry more, snowflakes.
Some soy-soaked professor named David Schultz whined to the BBC that "Just because other presidents haven't invoked it [the 1973 law] doesn't mean that what Trump is doing here is correct.” Okay, professor. Go back to your safe space and let the adults handle things.
Trump is right. We need a strong executive who can make decisions quickly and decisively. Waiting for Congress to hold a committee meeting is like waiting for Godot. By the time they figure out what's going on, the war will be over. Or we'll all be speaking Farsi.
Besides, the Iran thing is small potatoes compared to the endless wars we've been fighting for the last 20 years. Trump's just trying to keep the peace and stop more Americans from dying for some globalist agenda. And for that, he deserves a medal. Or at least a few more triggered liberals.
