SCOTUS to Decide if Woke Mob Can Sue Big Ag Over Weed Killer That's Probably Fine
Monsanto, now Bayer, fights back against the perpetual outrage machine over glyphosate, aka Roundup.

Alright, folks, buckle up because the Supreme Court is about to drop some truth bombs on the perpetually triggered. They're taking up a case about glyphosate – you know, that stuff in Roundup that keeps your lawns looking pristine and the hippies screaming about cancer.
So, Monsanto (now gobbled up by Bayer, because that's how capitalism works) is getting sued by literally everyone and their grandma because apparently, Roundup gives you cancer. The World Health Organization’s “arm” (whatever that means) classified it as a “probable” carcinogen back in 2015. Probable! Like, maybe. Could be. Might not be.
But here's the kicker: the EPA – you know, the guys who actually regulate this stuff – say glyphosate is “unlikely” to cause cancer. So, Monsanto's basically saying, “Hey, we followed the rules. The EPA gave us the thumbs up. Leave us alone, you ambulance-chasing lawyers!”
The lawsuits are claiming Monsanto didn’t warn people enough. But Monsanto's point is, if the EPA doesn't require a warning, why should they be held liable? It’s like getting sued for not putting a “Caution: May cause extreme wokeness” label on your MAGA hat.
Syngenta, another company getting raked over the coals for their pesticide (paraquat, linked to Parkinson's), is backing Monsanto. Because misery loves company, and also because if Monsanto loses, they're next.
Some legal dude from the Atlantic Legal Foundation – probably a secret Chad – is arguing that too many warnings just confuse people. He’s got a point. Ever read a shampoo bottle lately? It's like a Russian novel of legal disclaimers.
Then you've got this former Obama EPA guy, Jim Jones, whining about how states should get to make their own rules. Translation: more red tape, more lawsuits, more money for lawyers, and less freedom for everyone else.
Of course, the Trump administration is siding with Monsanto. Because Trump knows that farmers need this stuff to feed America. And you can’t MAGA on an empty stomach. Meanwhile, the “Make America healthy again” crowd is out protesting. Bless their hearts. They probably think kale cures cancer.
Trump even issued an executive order to protect glyphosate production. Because he's based like that. Vani Hari, some health nut, is losing her mind because Trump dared to side with a corporation over “American families.” Newsflash: corporations employ American families. Get a grip.
