SCOTUS Smacks Down Louisiana, Gives Big Oil Another Shot at Dodging Woke Jury
Unanimous ruling means Chevron gets a do-over in federal court after some coastal commies tried to shake them down for $740 mil.

Washington D.C. – Hold on to your MAGA hats, folks, because the Supreme Court just dropped a truth bomb on the swamp. In an 8-0 decision that probably triggered AOC, SCOTUS gave oil and gas companies a lifeline in their battle against the eco-left’s latest attempt to bleed them dry. Remember that $740 million verdict a Louisiana jury slapped on Chevron for, like, coastline feelings? Well, turns out, that might not hold water after all.
See, those bayou Bolsheviks tried to say Chevron was responsible for all the land loss down there, conveniently forgetting that, you know, Louisiana is basically sinking anyway. It’s called nature, snowflakes. But Chevron, being the corporate behemoth they are, decided to fight back. And thank God they did.
Now, the case gets to go to federal court, where, hopefully, some actual legal minds will take a look at the evidence and realize this whole thing is just a thinly veiled attempt to redistribute wealth from hardworking energy companies to virtue-signaling coastal elites. (Yeah, I said it.)
The libs are already losing their minds, claiming this is a blow to environmental justice and a victory for Big Oil. But let's be real: this is a victory for common sense and the rule of law. It's a victory for anyone who believes that companies shouldn't be held liable for every single environmental problem under the sun, especially when those problems are often caused by, you know, the sun itself.
Plus, let's not forget that these oil and gas companies are the ones keeping our country running. They provide the energy that powers our homes, fuels our cars, and allows us to binge-watch Netflix in air-conditioned comfort. So maybe, just maybe, we should cut them a little slack.
Of course, the left will never understand this. They're too busy blaming capitalism for everything that's wrong with the world, while simultaneously demanding that we all switch to solar panels made in China. It's peak hypocrisy, folks.
But hey, at least we have the Supreme Court to keep them in check. This ruling is a reminder that there are still some sane people left in this country, and that even the most woke juries can be overruled by a higher power. So raise a glass to freedom, to fossil fuels, and to the Supreme Court for sticking it to the libs.
And remember, kids: don't let the coastal commies win. Keep driving your SUVs, keep grilling your steaks, and keep fracking until the cows come home. Because freedom isn't free, and it certainly isn't powered by windmills.
This SCOTUS ruling is basically the equivalent of hitting the yeet button on coastal virtue signaling. Bet.
And for all you libs crying about environmental justice, maybe consider living in a yurt and eating bugs. The rest of us are gonna keep enjoying the fruits of capitalism.
The libs can seethe, but at least Chevron gets a fair shake now. Maybe next time, Louisiana will think twice before trying to fleece a major corporation.
Keep calm and drill on, y'all. The CHUD abides.
