Rudy's Got the 'Tism: Giuliani Hospitalized, Blame 9/11 (Obviously)
America's Mayor, now 81 and wheezing, reminded everyone that he single-handedly saved NYC from the sand people after the Twin Towers went down.

So, Rudy Giuliani, the guy who used to be America's Mayor (before he went full 'that uncle' at Thanksgiving), is in the hospital. Apparently, he's got pneumonia, but don't worry, it's just a '9/11-induced health scare.' Because of course it is. Dude's 81, but sure, let's blame the collapsing towers from a quarter century ago. You know, that event that definitely wasn't an inside job but also explains everything wrong with the world today.
According to his spokesman, Ted Goodman (probably a nice guy just trying to make a living), Rudy's got 'restrictive airway disease,' which is fancy talk for 'he breathed in a bunch of concrete dust and asbestos when he was running around Ground Zero like a caffeinated chihuahua.'
Let's be real, 9/11 was a bad scene. Thousands died, and the aftermath was a complete clusterfuck. But the hagiography surrounding Giuliani's role is a bit much, no? Remember when he ran for president? That was… something. Now he's just Trump's loyal attack dog, which is arguably worse than breathing in pulverized building materials.
They're calling it 'World Trade Center Cough,' which sounds like a rejected Ben & Jerry's flavor. Probably tastes like regret and government overreach. Speaking of overreach, remember the Patriot Act? Good times, good times.
But hey, at least Rudy's 'breathing on his own' now, which is more than you can say for the people who actually died on 9/11. Perspective, people! Ted Goodman also said he's a 'fighter.' Yeah, a fighter for… what exactly? Relevance? Conspiracy theories? Getting paid by questionable foreign interests? The suspense is killing me.
Apparently, his family appreciates the 'outpouring of love and support.' Probably just a bunch of concerned boomers forwarding chain emails about how Biden is going to take away their Social Security.
Anyway, Rudy's still in 'critical but stable condition.' So, basically, he's still alive. Progress! Keep those prayers coming, folks. Because if there's one thing that can cure pneumonia, it's thoughts and prayers. Maybe throw in a few healing crystals for good measure. And a MAGA hat. Because why not?
Real talk, the 9/11 health crisis is a serious issue for first responders. People who risked their lives deserve proper care. Giuliani, well, he can afford it. What about the construction workers who were exposed, who didn't have his political connections? Who remembers them?
So, yeah, Rudy's in the hospital. The man's a meme factory. Here's hoping he recovers… so we can continue to laugh at him. In the meantime, let's not forget the real victims of 9/11: the people who are still suffering from the long-term health effects. Maybe focus some of that 'outpouring of love and support' on them, eh?
