Seriously? Trump posted a meme of himself as Jesus (cringe, I know), and the Pope went nuclear. Talk about overreacting.

And then there's Dan Savage, the gay sex columnist, who's suddenly itching to confess his sins after 45 years. I'm sure the priest is thrilled to hear all about that. This whole thing is just a virtue signaling bonanza for the left.

But the real kicker is JD Vance, the based Catholic convert, daring to suggest that the Pope stick to theology instead of spouting leftist talking points. You know it's bad when JD Vance is calling you out. The outrage! The heresy!

Sullivan's “Catholic friends” are all verklempt over the Pope's “humility” and “surrender.” Meanwhile, the rest of us are wondering when the Church became a branch of the DNC. Get ready for the Novus Ordo crowd to start screeching about how Pope Leo XIV is the best Pope ever while the tradcaths are sharpening their pitchforks and dusting off their rosaries.
