Mayor Commie: 48% of New Yorkers Haven't Woken Up Yet, Poll Shows
Barely half the city approves of Zohran 'From Each According to His Ability' Mamdani? Sounds about right for the Big Apple's slow descent into Soyciety.

So, Comrade Mayor Zohran Mamdani is nearing his first 100 days, and only 48% of New Yorkers approve? Shocking. I mean, not really. This is the city that elected AOC. What did you expect, a ticker-tape parade for common sense?
This Marist poll (because who trusts polls anymore, am I right?) says 55% view him favorably. Probably the same 55% who think pronouns are more important than paying rent. Good luck with that, folks.
He promised affordable housing. Yeah, and I promised to lose 20 pounds by next week. We all know how that’s gonna go. Affordable housing in NYC is like a unicorn riding a Tesla – a total fantasy.
They say 60% think he's fulfilling his campaign promises. I'd love to see the receipts on that one. Is he handing out free avocado toast with every rent check? Because that's about all I expect from this guy.
Of course, his approval is lower than Eric Adams. Adams, the guy who at least pretended to care about law and order before going full woke. But hey, at least Mamdani is outperforming Adams and De Blasio “among registered voters in terms of effecting positive change in New York City.” Translation: he's really good at pandering to the DSA crowd.
Lee M. Miringoff, the poll director, says it's a “good start.” A good start to what? The socialist revolution? I'm stocking up on canned goods and ammo, just in case.
Look, this is New York City. It's beyond saving. But we can still laugh at the absurdity of it all. Mamdani is just the latest in a long line of politicians who promise the moon and deliver nothing but empty rhetoric and higher taxes.
So enjoy your free stuff, New Yorkers. Just don't come crying to me when the whole system collapses under the weight of its own woke-ness.
At least we'll have memes. And that's all that really matters in the end, right?
Remember when NYC was a beacon of capitalism and freedom? Now it's just a cautionary tale. A very expensive cautionary tale.
Maybe it's time to move to Florida. Just sayin'.
