This is the same guy who probably thinks money grows on trees. Turns out, even in a city as deep-blue as New York, reality eventually bites. And the reality is, 'free' anything always comes at someone else's expense – in this case, the taxpayers who are already getting bled dry.

This is what happens when you elect a woke ideologue who's more interested in virtue signaling than actual governing.

The usual suspects are defending Mamdani, of course, bleating about 'complexities' and 'negotiations.' But let's cut the crap. This was a stunt, plain and simple. A way to pander to the Bernie bros and AOC stans who think that printing money is a viable economic strategy.

Mamdani's office is still clinging to the hope that they can make this happen by the end of his term, but don't hold your breath. This is New York City, after all. Between the insane taxes, the rampant crime, and the woke policies, the city's already circling the drain. Free buses are just another nail in the coffin.
