Malpass DESTROYS China's 'Developing Nation' LARP: Release the Food Hoard!
Former World Bank head calls out Beijing for hoarding food and playing the victim card while the world burns.

So, the establishment's still got some fight in 'em? Good. Former World Bank President David Malpass just dropped a truth bomb on China, and it's about damn time. This guy, who, yeah, used to work for Trump, is calling out Beijing for hoarding food and fertilizer like a dragon guarding its gold while the rest of the world's getting price-gouged.
First off, this whole “developing nation” charade needs to end. China's the second-biggest economy on the planet! They're richer than your average coastal elite, yet they're still playing the victim card at the WTO and the World Bank? Come on, man! It's like Warren Buffett hitting up the soup kitchen for a free meal. Malpass is right – they need to ditch the pretense and start acting like a responsible global power.
"They present themselves as a developing country when they're the second biggest economy in the world and in many ways rich," he said. "And yet they still have the pretence of being a developing country in the WTO and in the World Bank, and they could suspend that."
And this food hoarding BS? It's not just bad optics; it's actively screwing over the rest of the world. We’re talking about fertilizer shortages hitting farmers, spiking food prices for everyone, and potentially leading to unrest in poorer countries. All while China sits on its massive stockpile like some kind of feudal lord.
Then there's the Iran situation. Trump called the Iran ceasefire on “massive life support.” Malpass rightly points out, if Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz, China loses bigly. They run the shipping lines, they own the containers, they profit from global trade. A closed Strait of Hormuz means no tendies for Winnie the Pooh!
"You can't have a rogue state with plutonium, and you can't block the Strait of Hormuz," he stated.
"China benefits from open waterways worldwide," he said. "They run the shipping lines, own the containers, and make huge profit from trade with the rest of the world. So, they would be a big loser if Iran in some way had control of the Strait of Hormuz."
Of course, the BBC reached out to the Chinese embassy for comment. Translation: crickets. They know they're in the wrong, but they're banking on the West being too woke to call them out.
Malpass even dared to acknowledge that prices are going up in the US. You don't say! But hey, at least the job market's “robust.” We'll see how long that lasts when you're paying $10 for a loaf of bread. The world keeps spinning, and the elites keep pushing their narratives, but hey, maybe this time someone actually spoke truth to power. Make China Great Again. Release the food, Xi!
