Lefty Candidate Gets Owned by Red Sox Network: Cry More, Snowflake
NESN yeets triggered Dem's ad for IP violation, proving libs can't meme and don't understand property rights.
Portland, ME – Graham Platner, a woke Senate candidate in Maine, tried to dunk on the Red Sox ownership with a cringe campaign ad. But guess what? NESN, the network partially owned by the team, nuked the ad faster than you can say “cancel culture.” The reason? Intellectual property violation. Translation: Platner couldn't even steal memes right.
This whole thing is peak Leftist fail. Platner, probably fresh from his Gender Studies seminar, thought he could just waltz in and whine about private equity ruining “Muh Baseball.” Newsflash, champ: the Red Sox are a business, not your personal commie daycare center.
He blamed private equity for everything wrong with the team, which is rich coming from a guy who probably wants to nationalize everything from healthcare to artisanal beard oil. This is the same playbook: demonize successful businesses, promise free stuff, and then watch the economy implode. Hard pass.
Of course, the Left is screaming about “censorship.” Give me a break. NESN has every right to protect its intellectual property. If Platner wants to spew his socialist garbage, he can buy his own ad space (with someone else's money, naturally). He's giving off major 'I wanna speak to the manager' vibes.
The best part is that this whole fiasco probably backfired spectacularly. Instead of swaying Red Sox fans to his side, Platner just looks like a whiny loser who can't play by the rules. This is gonna be a YUGE L for his campaign. He should probably stick to virtue signaling about pronouns.
This is what happens when you try to politicize everything. Sports are supposed to be an escape from the endless culture wars, not another battlefield for woke crusaders. Maybe Platner should focus on actually understanding economics instead of trying to score cheap political points.
So, to recap: Lefty tries to own the Red Sox, gets slapped down by reality, and cries censorship. Sounds about right. Maybe he should try blaming Trump next. That always works, right? (Spoiler alert: no, it doesn't).
Meanwhile, the Red Sox will continue to rake in the cash, Platner will continue to whine, and the rest of us will be laughing all the way to the World Series. Deleting his cringe ad was the right move. Womp womp.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go chug a Bud Light and celebrate the fact that common sense still exists in at least one corner of the universe. #MAGA #LetsGoBrandon #RedSoxNation
This is the new normal. Prepare for more triggered snowflakes melting down over basic economics and property rights. Stay strong, patriots. The revolution will not be televised… it will be streamed on Rumble.
