Lammy Gives Woke Mob Six Months to Whine About Sentences, Because 'Trauma'
Victims get a half-year head start to screech about 'unduly lenient' sentences – just what the courts needed: more feels, less facts.

So, Lord Snooty himself, David Lammy, thinks 28 days ain't enough time for the perpetually aggrieved to have a good cry and demand longer jail time. Now, bereaved families get six whole months to wail about sentences they don't like. Because 'trauma,' you see. Apparently, grown adults can't handle the complexities of justice in under half a year. Must be all that triggeredness.
This, of course, is spun as 'strengthening victims' rights.' Right. What about the rights of the accused to a fair trial, free from the howling mob constantly demanding more blood? Remember presumption of innocence? Nah, didn't think so. Now, every sentence that doesn't satisfy the Twitter outrage brigade can be dragged back into court for another round of virtue signaling.
Tracey Hanson, bless her heart, spearheaded this crusade. Because, apparently, her son's killer's sentence wasn't 'justice' enough. And now Katie Brett wants to make darn sure everyone knows their 'rights' – which, conveniently, always involve sticking it to someone else. The fact that their individual tragedies are now being used as a political cudgel to further erode the rule of law is, of course, completely lost on them.
The 'unduly lenient sentence scheme' was already a joke. Now it's a full-blown clown show. Any Karen with a grievance can refer a sentence to the Attorney General, who'll then have to waste taxpayer money on another pointless review. It's like Groundhog Day, but with more tears and less Bill Murray.
And who pays the price for all this? You do, pal. More bureaucracy, more lawyers, more wasted time and money. All to appease the woke mob and their insatiable appetite for 'social justice.' Meanwhile, actual criminals are laughing all the way to the bank, knowing that the courts are too busy dealing with snowflake meltdowns to actually fight crime.
This isn't about justice. It's about pandering. It's about virtue signaling. It's about empowering the perpetually offended. And it's about time someone called bullsh*t on this whole charade. 28 days was more than enough. Six months is a recipe for disaster. Prepare for even more kangaroo courts and mob rule. GG Britain. GG.
