Johnson Sells Out, Funds DHS After 75-Day LARP
Speaker Johnson finally caved and passed the Senate's DHS bill, proving once again that 'conservative' politicians are all talk, no MAGA.

Washington D.C. - Well, folks, it happened. After 75 glorious days of pretending to fight the Deep State, House Speaker Mike Johnson pulled the ultimate Uno Reverse card and passed the Senate's DHS funding bill. Remember all that tough talk about defunding law enforcement and securing the border? Yeah, me neither.
Turns out, the White House sent a strongly worded memo – you know, the kind that strikes fear into the hearts of spineless Republicans – warning that DHS employees might miss their paychecks. Suddenly, Johnson realized that being a 'conservative' isn't as important as avoiding bad press. Shocking, I know.
"We’re not defying the White House," Johnson mumbled, clearly reading from a script prepared by his handlers. "Everybody understands what we're doing. We're all one team." One team? More like one clown show.
Let's be real: this was always the plan. Stall for a few weeks, make some noise, and then fold like a cheap suit when the pressure gets too high. It's the Republican Party's signature move. They talk a big game about fiscal responsibility and border security, but when push comes to shove, they always cave to the Democrats.
Representative Nick Langworthy, R-N.Y., whined about the need to fund DHS, even at 80%. Translation: 'Please, Mommy White House, don't hurt us!' Representative Troy Nehls, R-Texas, did his best sad-boi impression, lamenting the impact on DHS employees. Spare me the crocodile tears. If you really cared, you wouldn't have let this charade go on for 75 days.
Meanwhile, the Democrats, who initially started the shutdown because they didn't want to fund ICE and CBP (surprise!), are laughing all the way to the bank. They got exactly what they wanted: a DHS bill that doesn't prioritize border security and keeps the flow of illegals coming across the border. Mission accomplished!
The only thing this whole debacle proves is that the Republican Party is utterly useless. They're more concerned with maintaining the status quo than actually fighting for the values they claim to represent. They're the soyjak to Trump's Chad, the NPC to DeSantis's based governor.
So, what's the takeaway? Don't expect anything to change. The Deep State is firmly in control, and the Republicans are just along for the ride. Get ready for more endless wars, more open borders, and more woke indoctrination. Buckle up, buttercups, because it's going to be a bumpy ride.
At this point, it’s clear that the only way to fix this mess is to burn the whole system down and start over. But until then, we can at least laugh at the pathetic attempts of these politicians to pretend that they're actually doing something.
Remember, folks, we live in clown world. Honk honk!
