JD Vance Tells Pope to Chill Out, Libs Seethe
Vance's spicy take on the Pope's theology is the culture war battle we didn't know we needed.

ATHENS, Ga. – Okay, so VP JD Vance straight-up told the Pope to watch his mouth when it comes to theology. The libs are losing their minds, acting like Vance dissed the Second Coming or something. But let's be real, someone had to say it.
Vance, speaking in Athens, Georgia, on April 14, 2026, basically told the Pope, “I think it’s very, very important for the pope to be careful when he talks about matters of theology.” The audacity! The horror! Except, not really. Considering this is the same Pope who probably thinks climate change is a bigger deal than, say, actual religious doctrine, maybe a little check is in order. And let's not forget Trump posting that totally based AI pic of himself as Jesus. Talk about triggering the NPCs!
This is the same JD Vance who wrote a book about becoming Catholic – a book that’s currently chilling in the bowels of HarperCollins waiting to drop in June. So yeah, he might know a thing or two about the subject matter. It's not like he just pulled this opinion out of his rear. Remember when Pope Francis met Vance last year and then croaked hours later? Coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not. The internet never forgets.
Honestly, the pearl-clutching is hilarious. These are the same people who think men can get pregnant and that borders are racist. So forgive me if I don't take their outrage too seriously. They probably think Martin Luther was a good guy for nailing his 95 theses to the church door. It's time to stop simping for every supposed authority figure out there. Including the one in the funny hat.
But some Catholics are now wondering if their Maga beliefs make sense. Cry more, snowflakes. Maybe you should have thought about that before you started worshipping at the altar of wokeness. Trump once said avoiding STDs in 90s Manhattan was “my personal Vietnam… I feel like a great and very brave soldier.” Yeah, maybe he’s not exactly St. Augustine, but at least he owns the libs.
One salty Catholic told the Times they were not sure what to make of Trump's faith. Good, question everything. That's what real conservatives do. Don't just blindly follow the herd. Do your own research, form your own opinions, and don't be afraid to speak your mind. And if that means telling the Pope to chill out? So be it.
The Left thinks this is the end of the world. But really, it's just another day in the culture war. Get used to it. The only thing that's certain is that the memes will be glorious. Buckle up, buttercups. The ride never ends.
