ICE Shoots Alleged Gangbanger, Libs Triggered; More at 11
California man gets ventilated by ICE, claims victimhood, but the Feds say he tried to play bumper cars with an agent. Buckle up, buttercups.

Patterson, CA – Oh, honey, grab your pearls. ICE done did a shooting. Seems one Carlos Ivan Mendoza Hernandez (36, but probably feels older now) got popped during a traffic stop in the land of kale and artisanal toast. Cue the outrage machine.
According to the usual suspects, ICE is a rogue agency full of jackbooted thugs. Hernandez's lawyer, Patrick Kolasinski (probably a card-carrying member of the DSA), claims his client was shot for no reason and falsely labeled a gang member. Six bullets, a face full of lead, the whole nine yards. Womp womp.
But here's the tea: ICE is saying Hernandez tried to use his Toyota Corolla as a weapon of mass destruction. Acting Director Todd Lyons (probably a secret Trump supporter) says Hernandez “weaponized his vehicle in an attempt to run an officer over.” Sounds like a bad day for the Corolla.
Now, there's dashcam footage, but it's about as clear as a millennial's career path. Grainy, silent, and inconclusive. Shows Hernandez backing up, then going for it, but doesn't show the actual shooting. So, who to believe? The guy who claims he's an innocent victim or the Feds sworn to uphold the law? Tough choice.
Kolasinski is singing the victim narrative, saying Hernandez was just trying to escape the tyranny of ICE. “He was trying to get away because he was being shot at,” he whines. Right. Because the best way to escape gunfire is to jump a median. Makes sense.
ICE, naturally, claims Hernandez is a member of the notorious “18th Street Gang” and wanted for questioning in El Salvador for a murder. ICE hasn't released any proof but the default position should always be “believe the government.”
Kolasinski, meanwhile, claims Hernandez is just a working man trying to rehabilitate buildings damaged in fires. A regular Mother Teresa, this guy. Except, you know, with more bullet holes.
So, what's the takeaway? Probably something boring about immigration policy and the complexities of law enforcement. But let’s be honest, it's just another excuse for the left to screech about ICE and for conservatives to clutch their pearls and mumble about the rule of law. Meanwhile, normal people just want a cheaper gas price.
Until ICE releases the evidence, all we have is competing narratives and a whole lot of noise. But one thing’s for sure: This story ain’t over. Expect more virtue signaling, more outrage, and more reason to log off and touch grass.
