So, the head honcho at ICE, Todd Lyons, is dipping out. Apparently, sending people who aren't supposed to be here back to their home countries is a career killer these days. The libs are probably celebrating like they just won the World Cup, even though all that happened was a dude did his job and now he's gonna go make some real money in the private sector.

Markwayne Mullin, the new DHS guy, said Lyons was a “key player” in Trump’s totally-not-racist immigration agenda. Translation: he actually enforced the laws on the books. Imagine that!

Lyons oversaw, gasp, HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of deportations. The horror! The humanity! Never mind that these people broke the law to get here. Rules for thee, not for me, I guess.

Of course, ICE faced “increased scrutiny” because the left can’t stand the idea of borders or national sovereignty. They want everyone to come here, get free stuff, and vote Democrat. It’s not rocket science.

Remember that congressional hearing where Lyons and the CBP dude, Rodney Scott, went full based and defended Trump’s policies? Good times. They basically told the whiny Congresscritters to kick rocks.

And let's not forget the two US citizens who were shot by ICE agents. Tragic, sure, but the media acted like it was the new Kent State. Context, people. Context.

Trump expanded ICE's budget because, duh, you need resources to do a job. But try telling that to the defund-everything crowd.

So, Lyons is out. Who cares? Some other patriot will step up and do the job. The left can cry about it. We'll be too busy laughing at their tears to notice.

Next up: Mullin gets to pick the new guy. Let's hope he finds someone who's not afraid to trigger the snowflakes.
