ICE Actually Does Its Job, Libs Lose Their Minds: Soldier's Wife Edition
Another day, another triggered outrage mob because the Deep State remembered we have borders (sort of).

So, a soldier's newly hitched wife gets popped by ICE. Cue the wailing and gnashing of teeth from the usual suspects. Turns out Annie Ramos, the blushing bride of Staff Sergeant Matthew Blank, is an illegal alien from Honduras. Gasp! I know, I know, shocking, right?
She got snagged trying to stroll onto a military base. Apparently, presenting your Honduran passport and marriage license isn't the golden ticket you thought it was. Who knew? ICE, doing what they're supposed to do, slapped the cuffs on her. Five days in the clink and the libs are screaming about human rights violations. I'm sure Gitmo's quaking in its boots.
Blank, bless his heart, is heartbroken. "Worst days of my life!" he cries. I'm sure dodging IEDs in the Middle East was a walk in the park compared to his wife getting a minor inconvenience courtesy of the US government. Look, dude, I get it. But maybe, just maybe, marrying someone who's technically here illegally wasn't the smartest move if you wanted a hassle-free life.
DHS, the buzzkills that they are, pointed out she's got "no legal status to be in this country." Well, duh. That's kind of the point of the whole "illegal alien" thing. But facts don't matter when you're trying to virtue signal on Twitter.
Senator Mark Kelly, the guy who's only famous because his wife got shot (allegedly by a lib, BTW), swooped in to play hero. He yammered about how they "never should have gone through this painful process." Yeah, well, maybe she should have shown up to her immigration hearing back in 2005 when she was…wait for it…two years old. Clearly, a hardened criminal mastermind.
ICE, being the savage trolls they are, even suggested she could just self-deport using the CBP Home App. They're even offering free flights and spending money! Talk about a platinum package for leaving the country you're not supposed to be in. Sounds like a sweet deal to me.
The whole thing is peak clown world. The government (gasp) enforcing laws! Liberals crying about it! A soldier's wife caught red-handed! It's the perfect storm of woke outrage and bureaucratic incompetence. Someone get Babylon Bee on the phone.
Bottom line: Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Maybe next time, before waltzing onto a military base with questionable paperwork, consider the consequences. But hey, at least the outrage machine got a fresh coat of grease.
