Golders Green MP Asks: Where's the Woke Mob When Jews Get Stabbed?
Sackman calls out the 'lack of vocal solidarity' from the 'liberal left' after yet another antisemitic attack — but maybe they were too busy virtue signaling about something else.

So, the UK's in a state. Again. This time, it’s Golders Green MP Sarah Sackman wondering where all the screeching social justice warriors are after another antisemitic attack. Apparently, screaming about pronouns is more important than, you know, actual hate crimes. Essa Suleiman, some dude with a knife, went on a stabbing spree, targeting Jews in Golders Green. Not exactly breaking news in Clown World 2026, but still. Apparently, he stabbed Ishmail Hussein in Southwark first, because…reasons. The authorities are even looking at whether this was some Iranian-backed operation. Probably just another coincidence, right?
After the stabbings, Sackman noticed something: crickets. Sure, some Christians and Muslims piped up, but the usual suspects – the anti-racist brigade, the trade unions, the 'cultural leaders' – were strangely silent. Maybe they were busy drafting another strongly worded letter about microaggressions. Or perhaps they were too busy policing Halloween costumes. Who knows?
Sackman, bless her heart, actually pointed this out. “For a minority community to come under this sort of sustained level of threat and attack purely for our identity, you would expect in the normal run of things for anti-racist organisations, for trade unions, for cultural leaders to speak out,” she told the Times. But hey, maybe hating on Jews just isn't trendy enough for these performative activists. Gotta keep those likes and retweets flowing, after all.
She even wrote an op-ed in the Guardian (yes, that Guardian) asking the tough questions: “Where are the marches in solidarity and support of our Jewish community? Where is the response of the liberal-left? Where are the anti-racists, the trade unions, civil society, our friends and neighbours?” Good questions, Sarah. Maybe they’re all hiding under their beds, terrified of being cancelled for saying the wrong thing.
What really gets me is the hypocrisy. These are the same people who'll lose their minds over a perceived slight but can't muster a peep when Jews are being stabbed. It's almost like some minorities are more equal than others. Reminds you of that Orwell book, what was it? Oh yeah, Animal Farm.
Sackman highlighted how Finchley Reform Synagogue hosted the Somali Bravanese community during Ramadan after a Muslim centre in Barnet was burned down. Last month, when the synagogue itself was targeted, the Somali community returned the favor. Actual solidarity, not performative activism. Imagine that! Maybe the woke crowd should take notes.
