Georgia Goes Up in Smoke: Thanks, Balloons and Woke Firefighters?
Another week, another 'unprecedented' disaster. Are foil balloons the new assault weapon? Asking for a friend.

SOUTHEAST GEORGIA – Well, folks, looks like Georgia is having a bit of a crispy moment. Over 120 homes turned into charbroiled real estate, all thanks to…wait for it…a foil balloon. Yes, you heard that right. A foil balloon. Next thing you know, they'll be banning those things like they're AR-15s. (Don't give them any ideas, okay?)
So, the Highway 82 fire in Brantley County is apparently the biggest one in Georgia history, according to Governor Kemp. And how did it start? A Mylar menace short-circuiting some power lines. You can't make this stuff up. Bet you anything there's a think piece about the 'environmental racism' of balloon releases any minute now. Buckle up.
Meanwhile, 70 miles away, another fire is chowing down on Clinch and Echols counties, courtesy of some welding sparks. Sparks! Remember when men were men and sparks were just part of the job? Now it's an 'environmental catastrophe'. We're doomed, I tell ya, DOOMED!
But here's the real question: are we sure these firefighters aren't secretly woke? I mean, 10% containment after days? Sounds like they're spending more time virtue signaling than actually putting out the flames. Where's Smokey the Bear when you need him? Probably doing a DEI training session.
And of course, the climate change alarmists are out in full force, blaming everything on 'extreme drought' and 'gusty winds.' Newsflash: it's called weather. It happens. It’s been happening since the dawn of time. Did the cavemen have carbon footprints? I think not.
Hurricane Helene in 2024 also gets a shoutout for leaving behind a bunch of dead trees. So, basically, we're blaming a hurricane from two years ago for a fire that started because of a balloon and some sparks. Makes perfect sense. Totally not a failure of land management or anything.
And let’s not forget that poor volunteer firefighter in Florida who had a 'medical emergency' while fighting a brush fire. Sad, obviously, but I bet you anything the official story is hiding something. Probably vaxx related. Just sayin’.
So, what's the takeaway here? Don't trust balloons, welders, firefighters, hurricanes, or the climate change narrative. And definitely don't trust the government to fix anything. We're on our own, folks. Time to stock up on water, ammo, and maybe a few fire extinguishers. You know, just in case.
