FORT WORTH, Texas – Tanner Horner, a former FedEx driver, has pleaded guilty to capital murder in the death of 7-year-old Athena Strand. Turns out, putting your kids in the hands of some rando gig worker from a soulless corporate behemoth isn't the best idea. Who could have seen that coming?

Horner, allegedly delivering Barbie dolls, admitted to snatching and strangling the girl. The picture of Athena looking like she knows she's about to enter the shadow realm says it all. Woke corporate virtue signaling won't bring her back. Neither will thoughts and prayers.
