Deep State WINS: Court Keeps Anthropic Under AI Suspicion
Another AI startup gets the 'supply chain risk' treatment because...reasons. Prepare for the surveillance state 2.0, folks.
So, the Deep State just scored another point. A federal court decided that Anthropic, that AI startup everyone's been chattering about, gets to keep its oh-so-special 'supply chain risk' label. Translation? The Pentagon doesn't trust 'em. Shocking, I know.
Apparently, the Department of Defense is having a collective freakout about AI in warfare, and they're waving their hands frantically about 'supply chain risks.' Right. Because the biggest threat to America is some nerds in California writing code. Or is it?
Let's be real: 'supply chain risk' is just code for 'we don't like where your money comes from' or 'you might accidentally create Skynet.' Either way, it's classic government overreach disguised as national security. These are the same geniuses who brought you the Patriot Act, people. Remember that?
Anthropic is in the crosshairs now, likely because they're new, different, and not part of the usual military-industrial complex gravy train. Can't have outsiders disrupting the status quo, can we? Gotta keep those sweet, sweet defense contracts flowing to the usual suspects.
So, what does this mean for you, the average patriot? More government control, less innovation, and a future where AI is probably used to track your every move. But hey, at least we're safe from... uh... something. Probably.
I bet this is a boon for Palantir and all of those other defense contractors in the AI space. No competition means that their shares will jump and Peter Thiel's pockets get deeper. Maybe we should investigate who benefitted from this ruling.
The real kicker? They're probably using AI to spy on us anyway. But hey, at least they're worried about the 'supply chain risk' of someone ELSE doing it. The hypocrisy is so thick you can cut it with a butter knife.
Don't worry, though. I'm sure the government has our best interests at heart. Just like they did when they were spying on our phone calls and reading our emails. Trust the plan, am I right?
Prepare for even more invasive surveillance, because if the government's using AI, you bet they're not using it to make your life better.
And remember to question everything. Because if you don't, the Deep State will gladly do it for you. In fact, they already are.
Enjoy the dystopia, folks. We built it ourselves. MAGA!
