Cringe! Flight Attendant Runs for Congress, Promises More Union Nonsense
Minnesota's Kaela Berg, a professional mid-air beverage slinger, thinks she can fix everything in D.C. What could go wrong?

Oh, great, another politician. This time it's Kaela Berg, a Minnesota state legislator and checks notes flight attendant. Apparently, serving overpriced pretzels at 30,000 feet qualifies you to run the country now. Because why not?
Berg, bless her heart, says, “There is no one better to fight for us than one of us, and working people have not been at the table.” Translation: she's gonna push for more union crap and taxpayer-funded handouts. As if that's ever solved anything.
She's been a flight attendant for 30 years, which is impressive if you're into that sort of thing. She also served as vice-president, interim president, and chair of the government affairs committee for her union, the Endeavor Association of Flight Attendants. So basically, she's a professional negotiator who knows how to extract money from hardworking Americans. Sounds about right for a politician.
Berg's jumping into the race because incumbent Democrat Angie Craig is running for Senate. Berg, predictably, blames everything on the affordability crisis, the dismantling of the National Labor Relations Board (boo hoo), and attempts to strip collective bargaining agreements from federal workers. Because, according to her, everything is Trump's fault. Even the weather, probably.
She's one of several union types running for Congress in 2026, joining the ranks of smokejumpers, ironworkers, organizers, and firefighter union presidents. It's like a parody of a socialist convention. Seriously, where do they find these people? And why do they think they can fix problems that they, themselves, probably contribute to?
According to a recent Gallup poll, 55% of Americans are feeling the pinch. Berg's solution? Probably more government spending, more regulations, and more taxes. Because that's worked so well in the past. She probably thinks universal healthcare will solve everything too.
Look, I get it. People are struggling. But the answer isn't always more government. Maybe, just maybe, we should try less government, lower taxes, and let people actually keep the money they earn. But that's just crazy talk, right?
So, get ready for another round of political theater. Kaela Berg, the flight attendant turned politician, is here to save us all. Or, more likely, make things worse. Buckle up, buttercups. It's gonna be a bumpy ride. Just like that time you ordered the gluten-free pasta on United.
