Cop Who Bopped Dude with Cooler Walks FREE?! Woke Justice Strikes Again!
Erik Duran, framed for accidentally unaliving a perp with a cooler, gets bail while the libs seethe and the city burns.

Alright, listen up, snowflakes. Remember that story about the ex-NYPD officer, Erik Duran, who got railroaded for allegedly introducing a perp to the laws of physics via an Igloo cooler? Well, guess what? He's OUT. That's right, the dude they tried to make an example of is walking free while his appeal goes through the woke grinder.
Let's recap: Duran, a brave public servant (allegedly), was trying to stop some dude, Eric Duprey, from fleeing a drug bust on a moped. Somehow, a cooler got involved. Duprey ate pavement. End of story, right? Wrong. The woke DA, probably funded by Soros, went after Duran like he was El Chapo, slapping him with a manslaughter conviction.
"First and foremost, I want to thank my family, particularly my wife, my children and my parents for all their unconditional love and support throughout his ordeal," Duran said, probably while sipping a celebratory beer and eating a steak. "I also want to thank God for giving me strength and guiding me through the darkness. I thank my entire legal team for never giving up in their pursuit of justice." Based.
Now, the guy's union, the NYPD Sergeants Benevolent Association (SBA), is understandably stoked. Vincent Vallelong, the SBA president, called it “a major win for Erik and his family and for law enforcement officers around the country.” You bet your sweet bippy it is. It's a win against the narrative that cops are always the bad guys.
Of course, the usual suspects are clutching their pearls, screaming about police brutality and systemic racism. But let's be real: Duprey was allegedly involved in a drug deal. Choices have consequences. And sometimes, those consequences involve a cooler and a faceplant.
Judge Guy Mitchell, the guy who sentenced Duran in the first place, whined about it being a “deterrent” to other officers. "They had enough to investigate and catch him on a different day," Mitchell sniveled. "The distinction is that the deceased will no longer be seen again by his family." Cry me a river, your honor. Maybe Duprey should have thought about his family before allegedly engaging in criminal activity.
This whole thing is a prime example of the left's obsession with demonizing law enforcement. They want to defund the police, decriminalize everything, and turn our cities into Mad Max hellscapes. And they're willing to destroy innocent lives to achieve their goals.
So, let's raise a glass (or a cooler) to Erik Duran. He's a symbol of resistance against the woke mob. May his appeal be successful, and may he go back to protecting our streets from the scum of the earth. (Again, allegedly).
But remember, kids, never bring a cooler to a drug bust... unless you have to. Then, send it.
This case is a microcosm of the culture war, where every issue is weaponized to fit a pre-determined narrative. The truth? Cops make mistakes. Perps do bad things. Sometimes, those two things collide. Get over it.
Now, someone get me a beer. I need to celebrate this small victory against the forces of wokeness.
