Border Patrol Chief Bails: Was the Swamp Too Murky?
Banks exits the Deep State after making the border great again, says it's 'time' — time for what, exactly?

Okay, folks, so the head honcho of Border Patrol, Michael Banks, just bounced. Gone. Adios. Apparently, he's had enough of the swamp and is heading back to his ranch in Texas. Sounds like a good time, honestly. But let's be real, is it really just about the family?
Banks, who bravely stepped up during the glorious Trump years, claims he's "got the ship back on course." Right, because before Trump, it was just a free-for-all, wasn't it? Now suddenly, the border's so secure it's practically Fort Knox, according to Banks himself. Sure, Jan.
He told Fox News, "It's just time." Time for what, exactly? Time to enjoy the fruits of his labor? Time to escape before the next round of leftist lunacy ruins everything he built? Time to write a tell-all book? The suspense is killing me.
Meanwhile, CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott is all sunshine and rainbows, thanking Banks for his "decades of service." Decades? The guy came out of retirement to work for Trump! Talk about dedication to making America great again. Scott even had the audacity to claim that "the border was transformed from chaos to the most secure border ever recorded." Uh huh. And I've got some oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you.
The guy came out of retirement and got the job because the old guard was too busy sucking up to the establishment, right? Drain the swamp, indeed. But, maybe, just maybe, the swamp fought back?
Let's not forget, the Deep State is always watching. Always plotting. And anyone who dares to challenge their open-borders agenda is a target. So, maybe Banks got a little too close to the truth. Maybe he saw something he wasn't supposed to see.
Of course, the official story is that he's just tired and wants to spend time with his family. Gotta love that classic Washington excuse. But don't be fooled, folks. There's always more to the story. Always.
During Trump's second term, CBP has taken part in immigration enforcement operations in US cities, including Los Angeles, Chicago and Minneapolis. Those operations, and Border Patrol's participation in them, have come under intense scrutiny from Trump administration critics, especially after the killings of two American citizens by federal immigration officials in Minneapolis in January. Sounds like the libs didn't appreciate the enforcement.
Under the Joe Biden administration, Banks quit CBP out of frustration with the department’s morale and disagreements with the Democratic president’s approach to border security. Hmm, could be a sign the man had some integrity, or he knew he was about to be thrown under the bus.
So, as Banks rides off into the sunset, let's raise a glass to a man who (allegedly) tried to secure our border and (maybe) got burned by the swamp. Godspeed, sir. And don't forget to write that book.
Ultimately, another bureaucrat leaves the stage. Time will tell if they were a hero, a pawn, or just another cog in the machine. But one thing's for sure: the border crisis isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Stay vigilant, Patriots. Stay vigilant.
