SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Hold onto your hats, folks, because you're about to be absolutely stunned: a California Democrat is in trouble for, wait for it... corruption. Yes, Dana Williamson, a top-tier Dem strategist with tentacles reaching all the way to Governor Gavin Newsom (Hair Gel Emperor) and former guber hopeful Xavier Becerra (who probably knew, let's be real), just pleaded guilty to fraud. I'm picturing Pikachu with the shocked face right now.

Apparently, Williamson swiped a cool $225,000 from Becerra's campaign fund, disguised it as payments to the spouse of his chief of staff, Sean McCluskie (who already took a plea deal, nice!). Sounds like a real-life episode of House of Cards, except everyone's wearing Birkenstocks and virtue-signaling about climate change while lining their pockets.

Becerra, of course, claims he knew nothing. Riiiiight. Just like Hillary didn't know about her email server. These people are so detached from reality they probably think money grows on trees… or rather, is printed by the Fed and then laundered through campaign funds.

Meanwhile, other gubernatorial hopefuls like Tom Steyer (billionaire who pretends to care) and Katie Porter (the whiteboard warrior) are circling like vultures, ready to feast on Becerra's political carcass. It's the circle of life, only instead of lions and wildebeests, it's corrupt politicians trying to one-up each other.

Williamson, by the way, is a real OG in the California Dem scene. She's been chief of staff for Newsom and a cabinet secretary for Jerry Brown (aka Moonbeam). So, yeah, she knows where the bodies are buried... probably literally.

And get this: she also pleaded guilty to filing false tax returns, claiming $1.7 MILLION in personal expenses as business deductions. Seriously? I can't even deduct my coffee. This is what happens when you let these coastal elites run wild. They think the rules don't apply to them.

Now she's facing up to 38 years in the slammer. Let's hope she gets a cell with a view… of a California taxpayer’s bill.

But let's be honest, this is just the tip of the iceberg. California is a swamp, and these politicians are the mosquitoes, sucking the lifeblood out of the state. It's time to drain the swamp and send these crooks packing. Maybe then, just maybe, California can be saved from itself.
