Worboys Cop Sounds Alarm: Is the UK's Woke Justice System About to Go Full Kaboom?
Ex-detective says underfunded courts and endless virtue signaling could mean more black cab rapists on the loose, and nobody wants that.

So, the dude who nailed John Worboys, that delightful black cab rapist from London, is saying the UK's justice system is about to go full supernova. Tim Grattan-Kane, the ex-copper who actually solved a crime instead of just tweeting about pronouns, reckons all the underfunding and court closures are turning Britain into a free-for-all for predators. You know, the kind who drug ladies and then… well, you know.
Apparently, this is happening right as ITV is dropping some drama called Believe Me about the Worboys case. Talk about timing. It's almost like someone wants us to remember what happens when the cops actually do their jobs instead of attending diversity training.
Grattan-Kane's main gripe? The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) is slower than dial-up internet, thanks to being chronically underfunded. That means cops are twiddling their thumbs waiting for permission to arrest the bad guys, while those bad guys are out there, well, being bad. And don't even get him started on the lack of support workers for victims. Gotta defund the police to fund… what, exactly? More gender studies programs?
And then there's the whole court closure thing. Over half the courts in England and Wales have gone the way of the dodo since 2010. The Law Society says so. That means longer waits for trials, which means more time for criminals to roam free. It's almost like they want crime to go up. Occam's Razor, anyone?
Grattan-Kane is also dropping truth bombs about drink spiking. Apparently, it's becoming the new hotness for aspiring rapists. He mentions some cases in France and London. Maybe it's just that more women are reporting it. Or maybe, just maybe, some dudes have a serious problem with consent. Shocker.
Remember, the Worboys case was a clusterf**k from the start. Previous cops missed all sorts of clues. It took Grattan-Kane and his crew to actually connect the dots and put this creep behind bars. Their secret? They actually believed the victims. Imagine that.
But here's the kicker: Grattan-Kane says the police need to "think the unthinkable" about people in positions of trust. Which is code for: don't assume someone's innocent just because they're a [insert protected class here]. Turns out, predators come in all shapes, sizes, and identities. Who knew?
So, is the UK's justice system doomed? Maybe. But hey, at least they're woke. Right?
