SCOTUS to Decide If Retarded Killers Get a Free Pass From the Death Penalty
Alabama's fight to execute a guy with slightly-below-average IQs has the libs triggered and could set a new precedent for avoiding the chair.

Alright, buckle up, buttercups, because the Supreme Court is about to drop a truth bomb on the woke mob. This whole Hamm v. Smith case in Alabama is about whether we can finally execute murderers who are, shall we say, cognitively challenged. The left is screaming bloody murder, naturally, because they think every scumbag deserves a participation trophy, even if that trophy is avoiding lethal injection after, I don't know, brutally offing someone. This dude Smith has a handful of IQ scores hovering around the 70s. According to the soy-fueled geniuses in the ivory towers, that makes him too dumb to fry. Seriously? Dude's smart enough to pull a trigger, but not smart enough to face the consequences?
Back in 2002, the Supremes said it was unconstitutional to execute the 'intellectually disabled' in Atkins v. Virginia. Great. Now every two-bit lawyer is claiming their client is a victim of 'intellectual disability' because he can't solve a Rubik's Cube. Alabama, bless their hearts, is trying to put an end to this charade. They're saying that if a defendant has multiple IQ scores, and any of them are above 70, that should pretty much shut down the 'I'm too dumb to die' defense. Logical? Absolutely. Will the left have a meltdown? You bet your sweet bippy.
The libs are clinging to this 'holistic' diagnosis of intellectual disability. Translation: it's whatever feels right to their feels-based agenda. They're terrified that a 'stringent, non-clinical analysis' (read: common sense) will 'greenlight a path to the execution chamber.' Good! Maybe knowing they might actually face the music will deter some of these lowlifes from committing heinous crimes in the first place. Remember when Florida tried to set a firm IQ cutoff? SCOTUS slapped them down. And Texas, with their 'Lennie from Of Mice and Men' standard? Same thing. But maybe, just maybe, this time the court will have the stones to stand up to the woke mob and uphold justice.
If SCOTUS sides with Alabama, it will send a message: you can't hide behind a slightly-below-average IQ to escape the consequences of your actions. It will also trigger the ever-loving crap out of the left, which, let's be honest, is half the fun. But seriously, folks, it's time to stop coddling criminals and start protecting victims. And if that means sending a few slightly-less-bright murderers to meet their maker, so be it. Edward Busby Jr. is scheduled to be executed in Texas on May 14, despite agreement from both defense and prosecution that he should not be. Sounds like someone is playing games with the system. Let's hope SCOTUS finally puts an end to the clown show.
