Woke Mob Claims Another Victory: Graphite Mine Gets Canceled
RINOs cave to the perpetually offended as America's energy independence takes another hit.

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Another day, another win for the professional victimhood industrial complex. Pete Lien and Sons, buckling under the pressure from eco-terrorists and perpetually aggrieved tribes, has pulled the plug on its graphite mining project in the Black Hills. Looks like somebody forgot to tell these guys that energy independence is kind of a big deal, especially when China owns all the graphite mines. But hey, at least the meadows are safe for… what exactly are they used for again?
Nine groups within the Sioux Nation, who apparently have nothing better to do than file lawsuits, whined that the project would somehow desecrate Pe’ Sla, the sacred... prairie? Seriously, it's a field. Maybe if they spent less time virtue signaling and more time building something, they wouldn't be so reliant on government handouts. This whole thing is giving serious Standing Rock 2.0 vibes, except this time, the bad guys win.
Remember Standing Rock? Yeah, that glorious moment when the media fawned over “water protectors” while they trashed the place and slowed down a vital pipeline. Now, the same clowns are back, armed with the same tired playbook. The Dakota Access Pipeline opposition was a template, now they're just copy and pasting. They should be ordered to actually go to their sacred site, sans smartphones and Starbucks, and actually experience nature, instead of using the legal system like a weapon.
And let's not forget Clean Nuclear Energy Corp's uranium mining project, which is probably next on the chopping block. Because who needs domestic uranium when we can just keep buying it from Russia and Kazakhstan? Brilliant strategy, guys. Seriously, give these people a medal for strategic incompetence.
Meanwhile, the Alberta-to-Wyoming pipeline is inching forward, thanks to some good old-fashioned executive orders. Gotta love it when the government actually does something right for a change, even if it's just a drop in the bucket compared to the damage these woke crusaders are causing.
The fact is, we're handing our future over to these people, one canceled project at a time. We're so busy apologizing for things that happened centuries ago that we're forgetting to build a future worth living in. The U.S. dependence on foreign sources for graphite and uranium is a national security crisis waiting to happen. It’s almost as if our leaders are intentionally sabotaging our own country.
