West Bank Millennials Can't Even: Unemployment Edition
Get rekt, Zoomers: Turns out 'from the river to the sea' doesn't pay the bills.
So, the West Bank has a youth unemployment problem. Big surprise. Turns out chanting slogans and LARPing as freedom fighters doesn't exactly translate into a killer resume. Who knew?
Seriously, while the Usual Suspects are busy blaming everything on 'the Occupation' (eye roll), maybe some self-reflection is in order. Newsflash: victimhood isn't a business plan.
We're constantly told 'youth are the future!' but if their future involves perpetually crashing on their parents' couch because they can't find a job, maybe it's time to re-evaluate some priorities. Just a thought.
Of course, the Left will scream about systemic injustice and demand more free stuff from the UN. Because that's totally worked out so well so far. Let's be real: handouts only perpetuate dependence. Time to grow up and bootstrap.
Maybe instead of burning tires and throwing rocks, these kids could learn a marketable skill. Coding, plumbing, literally anything that doesn't involve screaming at Israeli soldiers. You're welcome.
And while we're at it, let's talk about the education system. Is it churning out employable graduates, or just indoctrinating future grievance studies majors? Because I'm guessing it's the latter.
So, what's the solution? Less whining, more working. Less dependency, more self-reliance. Less virtue signaling, more actual skills. And maybe, just maybe, a little less of the anti-Israel rhetoric that scares away potential investors. Just spitballing here.
And for all the keyboard warriors out there screaming 'But muh human rights!', let me just say this: economic opportunity is a human right too. And you're not gonna get it by demanding someone else give it to you.
So yeah, West Bank youth unemployment is a problem. But it's a problem that requires some tough love and a healthy dose of reality. Less blaming, more building. Less complaining, more creating. And maybe, just maybe, a little less TikTok and a little more textbooks.
Remember, folks: nobody owes you a living. Get to work.
(P.S. – Is anyone surprised by this? Anyone?)
