This little power grab could give the Dems a sweet 10-1 advantage in Virginia's congressional delegation. That's quite the upgrade from their current wimpy 6-5 edge. How did this happen? Well, apparently, Republicans were too busy fighting amongst themselves and wringing their hands about Trump to actually, you know, win.

Sources (who are too cowardly to attach their names to reality, naturally) are blaming the national GOP for not throwing enough cash at the problem. Apparently, the Dems outspent the Republicans by a cool three-to-one margin. Maybe if the Republicans spent less time funding pointless wars and more time, like, winning elections, things would be different. Just spitballin' here.
