Victory Day 'Ceasefire'? More Like Victory Day Clownshow
Surprise! Russia and Ukraine are still duking it out. Shocked, I tell you, SHOCKED.

So, remember that Victory Day ceasefire everyone was pretending was gonna happen? Yeah, turns out it was about as real as the Biden administration's grip on reality. Russia and Ukraine are still slinging mud (and presumably artillery shells) at each other like toddlers in a sandbox. Who could have possibly seen that coming?
I mean, seriously, did anyone actually believe Putin was gonna just chill and reflect on the glories of Soviet military might? The guy's got a Napoleon complex the size of the Kremlin. Expecting him to play nice is like expecting AOC to understand basic economics. It ain't gonna happen.
And Ukraine? Well, they're not exactly doves of peace either. They're fighting for their survival, which, you know, is kinda hard to do when you're busy holding hands and singing kumbaya. So yeah, they're gonna shoot back. Shocker.
The whole thing is just a big, fat virtue signal wrapped in a thin veneer of diplomatic BS. The elites in their ivory towers wring their hands and cluck about the need for peace, while the peasants are out there getting blown to smithereens. Gotta love the disconnect.
Remember when everyone was saying the sanctions would cripple Russia? LOL. They're still selling oil to China and India, and the Ruble is doing just fine, thanks for asking. Turns out, trying to economically kneecap a country with nuclear weapons is a lot harder than canceling Gina Carano.
The real takeaway here is that this whole situation is a clusterf*ck of epic proportions, and nobody really knows what's going on. Except maybe the defense contractors. They're doing great, I'm sure. Ka-ching!
So, what's next? More fighting, more accusations, more empty promises of peace. The cycle continues. The only winners are the politicians and the corporations. The rest of us just get to watch the world burn. Fun times!

And remember, stay strapped, stay skeptical, and never trust the government. Especially this one.
Also, mandatory 'thoughts and prayers' for the people actually suffering in this mess. Because, you know, that's what we're supposed to say. Even though it doesn't actually do anything. But hey, at least it makes us feel good about ourselves. Right?
