NEW YORK — Alright folks, the USMNT just dropped their roster for the 2026 World Cup. Let's hope Coach Pochettino picked players who can actually kick a ball and not just virtue signal harder than a woke college professor.

This isn't about whether they 'feel represented' or if the locker room is a 'safe space.' It's about winning, plain and simple. We're hosting this thing with Canada and Mexico, and the last thing we need is another international embarrassment.

Tim Ream is talking about pressure to 'grow American soccer.' Yeah, how about by winning games? That's how you get kids interested. Not by lecturing them about social justice.

This whole thing is gonna be a woke-fest, I can already feel it. Corporate sponsors will be tripping over themselves to virtue signal, ESPN will be interviewing players about their 'lived experiences,' and the commentators will be talking about everything but the actual game.

But hey, maybe, just maybe, these guys will surprise us. Maybe they'll shut up and play. Maybe they'll actually win a game or two. And maybe, just maybe, America will actually care about soccer for more than five minutes this time.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for patriotism, but these days it feels like everything's gotta have a 'cause' attached to it. Just play the game, wave the flag, and leave the woke garbage at the door.

If they start kneeling, I'm turning off the TV. I’m out. I’ll find something more worthwhile to watch, like competitive napping or paint drying.
