UN Official Has Feelings About Israel, Shocker
After ceasefire, UN cries 'horrific' after a few boom booms in Lebanon.

So, the UN's feelings are hurt. Again. Apparently, some stuff went boom in Lebanon after a ceasefire thingy, and Volker Turk, some suit over at the UN, is clutching his pearls, calling it 'horrific.' You know, the usual. Like clockwork.
Ceasefire? More like a 'pausefire,' am I right? It barely lasted long enough for someone to tweet about it. Then, kaboom! It's almost like some people don't want peace, or maybe they just have a different definition of it. Like when you call your ex after saying you wouldn't, that's what happened here.
Lebanon's in mourning? Well, get in line. The whole world's mourning something these days. Seems like everyone's got a reason to be sad. Time to cope and deal with it, no?
Now the UN wants to stick its nose in, like always. Maybe they should focus on problems they can actually fix, like, oh I don't know, finding a use for all those empty offices in New York, like when AOC moved there in 2018. No one is living in that building.
'International observers' are calling for 'restraint.' Yeah, good luck with that. When has 'restraint' ever solved anything? Restraint is for diets, not geopolitics. You ever show restraint against a pack of wild dogs? Didn't think so.
The UN Human Rights office is 'emphasizing the importance of protecting civilians.' As if anyone intentionally targets civilians. It's a war not a nice walk in the park. It's all very, you know, very snowflakey.
And of course, the attacks are going to 'undermine efforts to address the humanitarian crisis.' Everything undermines that. The humanitarian crisis is like a hydra — cut off one head, two more pop up. No winning.
But hey, at least it's something to talk about other than [current woke outrage]. Keep the drama coming, folks. We'll be here, popcorn in hand.
So what's the big takeaway? World peace is overrated. Pass the freedom fries. And maybe tell the UN to chill.
