U of O Goes Full Woke, Rushes ICE Alert System to Appease Lib Tears
University of Oregon caves to the perpetually offended, implementing a virtue-signaling ICE alert system months ahead of schedule. Get ready for some triggered snowflakes!

Eugene, OR – Hold onto your hats, folks, because the University of Oregon just went full-blown woke. In a move that's sure to delight the perpetually outraged, they've rushed the implementation of an ICE alert system, months before it was even required by law. Why? Because some whiny snowflakes couldn't handle the idea of ICE agents maybe, possibly, potentially being on campus. This is peak clown world.
According to reports, the University caved to pressure from groups like the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and the University of Oregon Anti-ICE Coalition. These are the same folks who probably think communism is a great idea and avocado toast is a legitimate meal. They demanded an immediate ICE alert system, and the U of O, being the spineless institution it is, happily obliged. No surprise there.
Associate Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students Jimmy Howard, bless his heart, sent out an email patting themselves on the back for this momentous achievement in virtue signaling. “As requested by our campus community and required by Oregon House Bill 4079, we are implementing a notification system in the event of immigration enforcement activity on campus,” he wrote. Translation: We're terrified of being canceled, so we'll do whatever the woke mob tells us to do.
The Daily Emerald, the campus newspaper run by aspiring journalists who probably think journalism is dead (because they're doing it), broke the story. You can bet they were thrilled to report on this victory for social justice warriors everywhere. Prepare for a Pulitzer.
A University spokesperson told Fox News Digital that the existing emergency alert system already informs the campus community of certain law enforcement activity. But, of course, that wasn't good enough. They needed a special alert system just for ICE, because apparently, the presence of law enforcement is now a microaggression. The fragility is astounding.
The University claims the alert system will require verification from the Office of the General Counsel, university police, and Safety and Risk Services before alerts are issued. So, basically, a committee of bureaucrats will decide when to send out a mass text warning students about the scary ICE agents. Sounds efficient, right?
Let's be real, this is all about virtue signaling. The University doesn't actually care about protecting students from ICE. They care about appearing to care. It's all a big performance for the woke crowd, designed to boost their social credit score and keep the outrage mobs at bay. What a joke.
But hey, at least the snowflakes will feel safe and secure in their bubble of unreality. They can go back to demanding safe spaces, trigger warnings, and free tuition, all while patting themselves on the back for being such enlightened and compassionate individuals. Maybe they should spend more time studying and less time whining. Just a thought.
This whole thing is a testament to the utter absurdity of modern academia. Universities are supposed to be places of learning and intellectual debate, but instead, they've become indoctrination centers for woke ideology. It's time to drain the swamp, folks, and reclaim our institutions from the clutches of the perpetually offended. Get woke, go broke, University of Oregon.
So next time you see an ICE agent, don't cower in fear. Instead, thank them for doing their job and protecting our country. And if you see a University of Oregon student, maybe offer them a participation trophy. They've clearly earned it. Safe travels, cucks.
