Trump's Board Just Told Hamas to STFU and Disarm: About Time
Finally, someone's telling these pajama-clad terrorists it's disarmament o'clock – tick-tock, towelheads.
Washington, D.C. – Alright, folks, let's cut the BS. Some board (probably full of swamp creatures, but whatever) under Trump's banner has finally grown a pair and told Hamas to put down the boomsticks. Apparently, even the libs are starting to realize that 'lasting cease-fire' ain't happening when you've got guys launching rockets from playground sandboxes. And the clock is ticking.
This demand reflects the administration's growing impatience. Ya think? These guys have been lobbing projectiles at Israel like it's some kind of twisted game of dodgeball for decades. Maybe now, they'll get the message: the free ride is over.
Of course, the usual suspects are already whining. 'But what about the poor Palestinians?' Spare me. They can have a bright future once they kick out the terrorists using them as human shields. Freedom isn't free, and it sure as hell ain't gonna be handed to you by a bunch of guys wearing sandals and waving AK-47s.
Let's be real, the history of U.S. involvement in this conflict is a joke. We've been throwing money at both sides for decades, hoping they'll suddenly hug it out and sing Kumbaya. Newsflash: it ain't working. Maybe a little tough love is what's needed. A nice, strongly worded ultimatum.
Hamas is going to whine and cry about 'resistance' and 'occupation'. That's their M.O. It's always someone else's fault. But hey, if they want to live in the Stone Age, that's their prerogative. Just don't expect us to pay for it.
Experts (lol) will say this is 'destabilizing'. News flash: the region's already about as stable as a meth addict on a unicycle. Might as well try something different. Maybe this will actually scare some sense into them. Or at least make them think twice before firing another rocket.
The Left will scream about 'bias'. Cry more. We're siding with our allies. Isreal has been one of America's closest allies for as long as anyone can remember. It's called common sense. You might want to try it sometime.
So, what's the implication? Either Hamas folds (unlikely, but hey, miracles happen), or they get a taste of American freedom. Either way, it's a win for the good guys. Let's hope this is the start of something. Let's hope that something involves a lot of explosions and a few less terrorists.
I'm not holding my breath, but hey, a guy can dream, right? Maybe one day, they'll learn that peace is better than pieces. But until then, let's keep the pressure on. And maybe send a few more JDAMs their way, just to keep things interesting.
It is what it is.
