Texas Says 'Bye Felicia' to Convicted Killer After Cousin's Last-Minute Save Fail
Another one bites the dust! Texas executes James Broadnax, proving that even woke last-minute Hail Marys can't save you from a well-deserved date with the needle.

HUNTSVILLE, Texas – You love to see it. James Broadnax, a 37-year-old perp who thought he could outsmart the Texas justice system, finally got his golden shower (of sodium thiopental, that is) this week. The guy was iced at the Huntsville state pen for the 2008 double homicide of Stephen Swan and Matthew Butler, and not a moment too soon. All that talk about 'innocence' and 'racial bias' fell flatter than a politician's promises.
Let's be real, this dude was guilty as sin. He confessed to the crime, bragged about it, and even wrote rap lyrics about robbing and killing people. I mean, come on. And then, at the last minute, his cousin tries to pull a 'nah, bro, it was me!' move? Please. Spare us the theatrics.
The Lefties are gonna clutch their pearls and cry about how unfair it all is, but let's not forget the victims here. Stephen Swan and Matthew Butler aren't coming back. Their families deserve justice, and they finally got it. As for the 'racial bias' narrative, give me a break. The guy was guilty. Period. And frankly, the state of Texas had every right to carry out the judgment of the court. Frankly, this is the kind of thing that would get this country back on track.
It's time to stop coddling criminals and start holding them accountable for their actions. If you commit a heinous crime, you should pay the price. End of story. The whiners will tell you this is inhumane. I say tough. Do you think Swan and Butler got a humane deal? What about their families? What is humane about that? The justice system can and should continue to seek retribution for such crimes. That is the point of the system in the first place.
This whole thing is a perfect example of how the Left tries to weaponize race to get criminals off the hook. They'll scream 'systemic racism' at the drop of a hat, even when there's zero evidence to support their claims. It's all about pushing their woke agenda and undermining the rule of law.
They claim the execution was racist because the defense cried foul about the jury selection process. I say prove it. You don't get to cry racism every time someone faces justice. That is precisely how you make a society weaker, not stronger.
So, let's raise a glass (of sweet tea, naturally) to Texas for doing the right thing. Maybe this will send a message to all the wannabe thugs out there: mess with Texas, and you'll get the needle. And that's a good thing.
RIP to the victims, Stephen Swan and Matthew Butler. Justice, at last. Now let's get back to making America great again, one execution at a time. The Left will whine, but frankly, who cares? They are wrong, as usual.
Another great day for freedom. And by freedom, I mean the freedom to not get robbed and murdered by scumbags like James Broadnax. Now that is what I call making America great again.
