Tennessee Dem Gets Owned by Based Redistricting
Cohen cries 'gerrymander' as GOP redraws his safe space into oblivion. Cope.

So, another day, another lib bites the dust. Tennessee's own Steve Cohen, a white dude somehow clinging to power in a majority-Black district, is throwing in the towel after the GOP finally got around to redrawing the maps. Apparently, the new districts aren't quite as 'safe' for the Dems anymore. Shocking, I know. Cohen's whining about how the districts were "drawn to beat me." Yeah, dude, that's kinda the point. It's called politics. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
This whole saga is brought to you courtesy of the Supreme Court, which recently gave states more freedom to redraw their districts without the feds breathing down their necks. Cue the outrage from the left. Apparently, states being allowed to govern themselves is now a threat to democracy. Someone get me a fainting couch.
Cohen's lamenting that Tennessee might go full-MAGA with an entirely Republican congressional delegation. Good. Maybe then they can finally start fixing the mess these clowns have made. He even whined about how it could "leave the state out of the loop" when the Dems inevitably rig the next election and take back the White House. As if Tennessee wants to be in the loop with those woke psychos. Thanks, but no thanks.
He's also salty that his primary challenger, Justin Pearson (a Black Democrat), is still running. Translation: he's worried about losing to someone who actually represents the people in the district, instead of coasting on virtue signaling and woke talking points. Can't have that, now can we?
Cohen claims this redistricting effort could "backfire on the Republicans" if there's some kind of miraculous Democratic registration surge. LOL. Good luck with that. Maybe they can find a few more dead people to vote. Or maybe they can convince everyone that socialism is actually a good idea. Keep dreaming, libs.
He points to photos of Memphis projects he championed, as if that's supposed to impress anyone. Newsflash: politicians take credit for stuff all the time. It's part of the job description. And he brags about working with Republicans to get funding for a bridge? Sounds like he's trying to appease the very people who just kicked him to the curb. Sad.
House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries called Cohen a "powerful champion for civil rights." I'm sure he is. But apparently, being a champion for civil rights isn't enough to overcome a little thing called fair redistricting. Maybe the Democrats should focus on actually representing the interests of their constituents, instead of pandering to the woke mob.
Look, at the end of the day, this is just politics. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Cohen lost. Get over it. Maybe he can find a nice cushy job at CNN or MSNBC, where he can whine about the evils of conservatism to his heart's content. Meanwhile, the rest of us will be here, enjoying the sweet taste of victory. MAGA!
