Taiwan Prez Says 'Hands Off!'...But Is Anyone Listening?
Lai Ching-te mouths platitudes about self-determination while Beijing sharpens its knives and Biden mumbles something about 'strategic whatever'.

So, Taiwan's new guy, Lai Ching-te, drops this bombshell: Taiwan's future is up to Taiwan. Groundbreaking, right? I mean, who else would decide it? Maybe Xi Jinping? Oh, wait...
This whole situation is like watching a dude try to hold back a tsunami with a pool noodle. China's breathing down their neck, Uncle Sam's playing footsie, and Taiwan's stuck in the middle, yelling about freedom like it's 1989.
Let's be real, this 'One China' policy is a joke. Everyone knows Taiwan's got its own government, its own economy, its own everything. But nobody wants to rock the boat too hard, 'cause China's got all the cheap plastic crap we buy at Walmart.
And Biden's 'strategic ambiguity'? Please. That's just code for 'we might help, we might not, depends on what's trending on Twitter that day'. Meanwhile, China's building islands in the South China Sea and sending warships near Taiwan like they're delivering Uber Eats.
Lai can talk all he wants about self-determination, but at the end of the day, Taiwan's survival depends on two things: A) a spine of steel and B) a willingness to call out the globalist elites who are selling them down the river for a quick buck.
The real question is, does Lai have the stones to tell the WEF crowd to shove it? Does he understand that 'climate change' virtue signaling won't stop Chinese tanks?
Probably not. He's probably just another politician playing the game, hoping to avoid being the guy who lost Taiwan. But hey, maybe he'll surprise us. Stranger things have happened. Like Trump getting elected. Twice?
But don't hold your breath. The globalists are probably already working on a deal to hand Taiwan over to China in exchange for some carbon credits and a promise to be nicer to Greta Thunberg. #WakeUpSheeple
We need a leader who will stand up to China, defend Taiwan's freedom, and tell the global elites to go pound sand. Until then, Taiwan's future looks about as bright as a lightbulb in a black hole.
So, yeah, Lai said some stuff. Big deal. Talk is cheap. Show me some action. Show me a real commitment to defending freedom. Otherwise, just shut up and get out of the way.
Frankly, this is all just kabuki theater until someone decides to grow a pair. The world is laughing at us. Get it together, Taiwan. Freedom isn't free, and whining about it online won't save you. Time to man up.
Just sayin'.
