Sophia Nelson Asks: Are We Even 'Keeping It' Anymore? (Spoiler: Probably Not)
New book asks the tough questions: Did we fumble Franklin's republic, or was it rigged from the start?

So, Sophia Nelson, some columnist chick, wrote a book called "Redefining Freedom." Sounds like another beltway swamp creature trying to sell us the same old song and dance, right? But hey, maybe she's onto something.
She's riffing on that classic Benjamin Franklin line: "A republic, if you can keep it." Which, let's be honest, feels like a cosmic joke these days. We got gerrymandering, the woke mind virus, and a president who probably thinks Ben Franklin was a founding father of Ben & Jerry's. So, are we 'keeping it'? Hard pass.
Nelson's book supposedly dives into how we can adapt America's 'founding principles.' Adaptation? More like amputation at this point. The left wants to rewrite history, the right's stuck in 1776, and meanwhile, the CCP is laughing all the way to the bank.
Ali Rogin, bless her heart, interviewed Nelson. Bet that was a real barnburner of hard-hitting journalism. Probably asked her what her favorite shade of lipstick is while Rome burns. The elite media will be elite, I guess.
But seriously, the core question is valid: Are we even living in a republic anymore? Or is it just a reality TV show with really high stakes and increasingly insane storylines? Is there any accountability anymore? Are the 'people' even in control?
The smart money says NO. We're being played by a globalist cabal, manipulated by algorithms, and distracted by celebrity drama. But hey, at least we have avocado toast, right?
Nelson's book is probably just another brick in the wall of endless political commentary. But maybe, just maybe, it'll spark some actual thought. Maybe it'll wake up a few normies from their Netflix-induced coma. Maybe it'll remind us that we're supposed to be citizens, not just consumers.
So, should you buy the book? I don't know, man. Up to you. Just remember: Question everything. Trust no one. And always, always hodl your Bitcoin. And for the love of God, stop wearing masks outside.
