Senate Gets Woke, Cuts Own Pay During Shutdowns? LOL, As If That'll Fix Anything
Pelosi's geriatric squadron pretends to care about shutdowns by docking their own paychecks – but it's just another virtue signal for the blue hairs.

Alright, alright, alright. So, the Senate decided to virtue signal harder than AOC at a climate rally by voting to withhold their own pay during future government shutdowns. Big deal. Like that's gonna stop the swamp from, well, swampin'. These clowns think we're stupid. They cause the shutdowns in the first place with their endless spending bills and then act like they're sacrificing for the common folk by… checks notes …not getting paid during the mess they created. Gimme a break.
The government shutdown is like the political equivalent of when your boomer parents fight over the thermostat – everyone suffers because nobody wants to compromise. Except in this case, the thermostat is the national budget, and the suffering involves actual federal employees getting furloughed and having to explain to their kids why Christmas might be a little light this year.
This whole thing is theater, pure and simple. The real issue is the endless printing of money. They're playing Monopoly with our grandkids' futures. Our national debt is higher than Snoop Dogg at Coachella, and these jokers are arguing over whether to cut their own paychecks while the whole damn system is teetering on the brink of collapse.
And speaking of distractions, the CDC is monitoring 41 people for hantavirus. Okay, cool. So while we're all worried about shutdowns and inflation, there's a potentially deadly rodent-borne virus lurking in the shadows. Thanks, I hate it.
Then there's Cuba. Apparently, they're running out of fuel and the lights are going out. Shocking, I know, that communism doesn't exactly lead to economic prosperity. Maybe Bernie should take a trip down there and explain how it's real socialism this time.
And finally, RIP to Clarence Carter. Soul legend. At least there's some real news to appreciate.
Bottom line: don't fall for this virtue signaling crap. The Senate isn't suddenly concerned about fiscal responsibility. They're just trying to look good before the midterms. Wake up, sheeple. Buy gold, stock up on ammo, and get ready for the inevitable collapse. Tick tock.
