RINO Down! Raffensperger Gets the Boot in Georgia
Turns out, calling Trump supporters 'wrong' isn't a winning strategy. Who knew?
ATLANTA, GA - Well, well, well. Looks like Georgia voters finally gave Brad Raffensperger the ol' heave-ho. Turns out, telling half the electorate they're conspiracy theorists for questioning the 'most secure election in history' ain't exactly a recipe for success. Shocking, I know.
This RINO thought he could skate by on 'principles' and 'doing the right thing.' Newsflash, Brad: the 'right thing' is whatever the base wants. And they wanted someone who wouldn't stab Trump in the back.
Remember when this guy certified the election results? Pepperidge Farm remembers. And so do Georgia Republicans, apparently. They haven't forgotten how Raffensperger became the darling of the MSNBC crowd, all while MAGA nation screamed into the void.
It's almost like ignoring millions of Americans who have legit questions about election integrity is a bad political move. Who would've thunk it?
Now, the libs will cry about 'democracy' and 'threats to our institutions.' Cry harder, snowflakes. This is what happens when you try to gaslight an entire country into believing that everything is fine when it clearly isn't.
Don't get me wrong, Raffensperger probably thinks he’s some kind of hero for 'standing up to Trump.' But the voters have spoken. They're tired of establishment Republicans who are more concerned with what the New York Times thinks than what their own constituents think.
So, goodbye, Brad. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. And maybe, just maybe, this will be a lesson to other so-called Republicans: listen to the base, or get primaried. It's really that simple.
This outcome is a prime example of how out-of-touch the establishment GOP is with its own voters. They are living in a bubble where they think they can ignore the concerns of their base and still win elections. Raffensperger's defeat is a wake-up call for them. They need to start listening to their voters and addressing their concerns, or they will continue to lose elections.
The real takeaway here is that the MAGA movement is alive and well. Trump may not be in office, but his influence is still strong. And anyone who tries to cross him will pay the price.
