Rhode Island: Another Day, Another Bail Reform Fail
Beach stabbing by a repeat offender? Shocker. Thanks, woke DAs!

Alright, folks, let's get real. Another day, another headline proving that 'bail reform' is just a fancy way of saying 'let criminals run wild.' Willy Medina, an 18-year-old future Nobel Prize winner (sarcasm!), was already out on bail for waving around a pistol like he was auditioning for 'Miami Vice,' and what does he do? He allegedly stabs three people at Narragansett Town Beach. Surprise! Zero. Absolute. Shock.
I mean, who could have possibly predicted that someone with a history of, shall we say, spirited behavior might, just might, engage in further shenanigans? Certainly not the geniuses pushing these 'progressive' policies. They're too busy virtue signaling to notice the bodies piling up (metaphorically… mostly).
We're constantly told that keeping criminals locked up is 'unfair' and 'disproportionate.' But what's unfair is the innocent people getting shanked on a public beach because some woke DA thought it was more important to be 'equitable' than safe. Equity for the criminals, misery for everyone else. That's the motto of the modern Democrat Party.
And let's not forget the usual suspects blaming 'systemic issues' and 'lack of opportunity.' Give me a break. Personal responsibility still exists, last time I checked. If you choose to carry an illegal firearm and stab people, you should face the consequences, regardless of your socioeconomic background. Actions have consequences, people. It's not rocket science.
Meanwhile, the libs will be screeching about 'gun control.' Because obviously, the problem isn't the violent criminal, it's the inanimate object he used. Brilliant. Maybe we should ban pointy objects altogether. Can't wait for the Butter Knife Confiscation Act of 2027.
This whole situation is a dumpster fire of bad ideas and worse execution. We need to ditch the soft-on-crime nonsense, support our law enforcement, and start holding criminals accountable for their actions. Maybe then, just maybe, we can reclaim our streets and beaches from the thugs and looters.
And for the record, I'm not saying Medina is guilty. Innocent until proven otherwise, blah blah blah. But the fact that he was even in a position to allegedly commit this crime while already out on bail is a disgrace. The system failed, plain and simple. And until we admit that, nothing's going to change.
So, crack open a cold one, folks, and raise a glass to the continued erosion of law and order in this once-great nation. Cheers to the future, where every beach is a potential crime scene and every politician is a virtue-signaling buffoon.
Remember: Secure the border, secure your family, and secure your Second Amendment rights. Because apparently, the government isn't going to do it for you.
