Rahm Caves to Woke Mob? DP World Tour Demands Fealty, Ryder Cup Still a Thing?
Jon Rahm, facing seven-figure fines for daring to play golf where he wants, grovels before the Eurocrats at the DP World Tour, but will he be allowed to play in the virtue-signaling circus that is the Ryder Cup?

Augusta, GA - So, Jon Rahm, the Masters champ, apparently wants to play in the Ryder Cup. You know, that biennial display of European and American golfing 'rivalry' that nobody actually cares about outside of legacy media and country club elites. To do that, he's gotta kiss the ring of the DP World Tour, because apparently, grown men can't decide where they want to swing a club without permission from some geriatric board.
Rahm's getting reamed with fines for playing on the LIV Tour. Seven figures, folks. For golfing. Because, freedom? Nah, not in globalist golf world. He dropped his appeal, probably after some woke lawyer whispered sweet nothings about 'optics' and 'brand image'. So he's basically admitting guilt to the crime of… playing golf somewhere the EU overlords didn't approve of. What a maroon.
He turned down a deal to play six DP World Tour events. Six! As if his time isn't worth more than schilling for some golf bureaucracy. But, gotta play the game, right? Gotta appease the gods of globalism if you want to play in their stupid little tournament.
'I didn't think going the legal route was good for anybody,' Rahm said. Translation: 'My lawyers told me I'd lose, and I'd rather just bend the knee.' He claims to have faith in a 'good solution'. Good solution for who, Jon? For you? Or for the leeches at the DP World Tour who are desperately trying to stay relevant in the face of LIV Golf's disruption?
Rahm wants to play the Irish Open at Trump's Doonbeg resort. Now that's a based move. Except, will the perpetually offended golf establishment even allow it? Remember when they pulled the PGA Championship from Trump's course after January 6th? Virtue signaling is more important than actual golf these days.
He's publicly named half a dozen events he'd be happy to enter. Translation: 'Please, DP World Tour, please let me give you some of my money! I beg of you!' The desperation is palpable.
Honestly, who cares if Rahm plays in the Ryder Cup? It's a glorified exhibition match. The real story is the ongoing turf war between the old guard of golf and the upstart LIV Tour. It's about control, money, and who gets to dictate where these guys play. And right now, the DP World Tour is acting like a bunch of petty tyrants.
So, will Rahm get his wish? Will he be allowed to play in the Ryder Cup? Maybe. But don't expect me to shed a tear either way. Golf is dying a slow, woke death anyway. Might as well enjoy the chaos while it lasts.
