Raffensperger, the 'Fraud Finder General,' Eyes Runoff. Still Trust Him, Goys?
Georgia's election boss, who totally didn't see anything sus in 2020, wants to be guvnah.
So, Brad Raffensperger, Georgia's Secretary of State and the guy who swore up and down the 2020 election was totally above board (despite, you know, everything), wants a runoff in the Republican primary for governor. I know, I know, shocker. The dude who was basically a speedbump on the highway to electoral chaos is now angling for a bigger office. You can’t make this stuff up, folks.
This is the same guy who got hammered by the Lamestream Media™ for not bending the knee to Trump. But let’s not forget he oversaw an election that raised more red flags than a Chinese military parade. And now he's asking us to trust him to run the whole state? Seriously?
Look, Raffensperger’s defense of the 2020 results bought him some brownie points with the establishment, but it didn't exactly endear him to the MAGA crowd. So, now he's trying to play the middle, hoping to snag enough votes from both sides to squeak into a runoff. Classic politician move, right?
Historically, Georgia's elections have been, shall we say, interesting. From hanging chads to mysteriously appearing ballots, the Peach State has always been a bit of a wildcard. And Raffensperger inherited that mess. Did he clean it up? Debatable. Did he make it worse? Also debatable. But one thing's for sure: he's now trying to cash in on the chaos.
Now, the establishment types will tell you Raffensperger is a stalwart defender of democracy. The CHUDs know better. He's a swamp creature trying to navigate the swamp. The question is, can he convince enough normies that he’s not part of the problem?
The irony is thicker than a milkshake at Chick-fil-A. Raffensperger is running on a platform of, what, integrity? After the 2020 dumpster fire? That's like O.J. Simpson running for a knife salesman position.
So, what's the play here? Raffensperger probably thinks he can ride the wave of anti-establishment sentiment while still being enough of an establishment guy to get the backing of the RNC. It’s a risky strategy, but hey, desperate times call for desperate measures.
In the end, Raffensperger’s bid for governor is just another reminder that politics is a dirty game. It's all about power, and these guys will say and do anything to get it. Don't fall for the smoke and mirrors, folks. Do your research, and don't let these swamp creatures fool you.
Remember, question everything. Especially when a politician tells you they're here to help.
