Planet Labs Goes Dark on Iran Pics, Thanks to Uncle Sam (Surprise!)
Satellite company bends the knee to the Deep State, blocks access to Iran imagery. Next they'll be banning Pepe.

San Francisco, CA – Well, folks, another one bites the dust. Planet Labs, the high-flying photo booth in the sky, has decided to pull the plug on its Iran imagery. Turns out, the good ol' US of A asked them to. You know, for “national security.” Riiiight.
So, what's really going on? Is this about stopping Iran from building a nuke? Maybe. Is it about hiding something we're doing? Also maybe. Occam's Razor suggests the most likely explanation is... something shady. Because of course it is.
Remember when everyone thought satellite imagery was going to usher in an era of total transparency? Yeah, that lasted about as long as a CNN anchor at a Trump rally. Turns out, governments really don't like being watched. Who knew?
This is basically the tech version of the Patriot Act. “Oh, it's just to keep you safe!” they say, while simultaneously spying on your grandma's knitting patterns. Wake up, sheeple!
It's hilarious how these companies talk about “freedom of information” until the government whispers sweet nothings (or, more likely, threats) in their ear. Then it's all “Yes, sir, Mr. President, whatever you say, sir!”
What's next? Will they be censoring images of Area 51? Or maybe they'll just start photoshopping Bigfoot into all the pictures of the Pacific Northwest. The possibilities are endless!
And let's be real, this isn't about stopping Iran from seeing troop movements. They have spies. They have drones. They probably have carrier pigeons with tiny cameras strapped to their backs. This is about controlling the narrative. It's about making sure we don't see something they don't want us to see.
The irony is thick enough to cut with a butter knife. We're constantly lecturing other countries about freedom of the press and access to information, while simultaneously pulling stunts like this. Hypocrisy, thy name is Washington.
Meanwhile, you can bet your bottom dollar that China still has access to all the satellite imagery they want. So much for “level playing field,” amirite?
This whole situation is just another reminder that we're living in clown world. The elites are laughing at us, the media is lying to us, and the government is spying on us. The only thing left to do is meme our way through the apocalypse.
So, salute to Planet Labs, the latest corporate shill to sell out to the Deep State. May your profits be plentiful and your conscience forever burdened. And remember, kids: Big Brother is watching… and he has a really, really good camera.
This is just more evidence of the swamp being far deeper and wider than anyone thought. Time to drain it...with a really, REALLY big pump.
